The access road is unsealed but well graded and extremely well maintained - much better than other parks we have visited. We walked the 600m track to see the falls - but as others have reviewed, you can only really see a partial torrent to the left, and where the falls begin to the right. I think to truly appreciate the majesty of the location, you would need to walk one of the much longer trails to the bottom of the falls, or at least to a better vantage point. It didn't detract from our visit however, as it is a lovely NP with good facilities - and lots of choices of picnic areas. We also explored some other areas on our way back through the park, and particularly recommend stopping off at Platypus Pool for a look around and some photo opportunities along the creek.

long way of road, unsealed road, needs 4 x 4 . not suited to motor cycle. Falls attractive but not very accessible, parking is pay and display and it doesn't tell u that till your almost there so you need to carry cash

We visited the falls on our way back for Bald Rock and after experiencing the Rock we were pleased this walk was very short, 600m. There wasn't too much water so it wasn't as spectacular as others have seen; still was nice to visit.

Boonoo Boonoo Falls were magical the day we arrived....flowing with flourish due to the rain from the previous day ..... I managed easily enough using a walking stick , a few stops on the way back due to the rise ..but still made it .....also went down the alternate path to the Rock Pools, they would be a wonderful respite on a hot Summers day with due care take at all times.......Plenty of Wallaby's and Kangaroo's on our way in & out of the national Park. There is NO FEE to visit the Falls , though you must pay a car fee for the National Park , this covers all sights in the NP on that day .I've not stated below how long per visit as you can stay as little or as long as you like due to the many walks in the area. Bring your own FOOD .Essentials are ..HAT- WATER & SUNSCREEN Summer & Winter

Isn't it wonderful to go somewhere, just to check it out (in this case, on the way back from Bald Rock NP), only to find that you are more impressed with this than the main event? Boonoo Boonoo is literally spectacular.

Some of the sights along the drive into the falls are well worth a stop and the walk. The tracks near the falls are well-maintained (paved) and the facilities are good - picnic areas and barbecues. However, the lookout at the falls doesn't really let you see the falls - just where they tumble over the edge for that 200 metre drop. I believe that there is a track to the bottom of the falls but we didn't have the time to search for it.The prices (like the other national parks in the area) are a little steep. $7 per day for vehicle entry is a little much if you're just walking the tracks and not using the picnic facilities. Camping is even more expensive at $10 per day per adult plus $7 per day per child plus the $7 per day for the vehicle entry. It's still worth a look, though. Check out the swimming holes at the top of the falls. The 14 Km stretch of gravel road had recently been graded when we visited and was a pleasure to drive on.

The walk down was ok, safe & clean, I was just disappointed at the angle at which you view the falls. Obviously this was the safest place to build the lookout platform.

The 14Klm side trip down a good quality gravel road is well worth what is at the end - The multiple cascades are spectacular and there is some rock pools suitable for swimming - The track to the lookout is sealed and an easy grade for walking - The view down over the valley is worth the walk in itself - In wet weather the falls would be really magnificent

Come int the summer and have a great swim. If you're lucky enough and its been raining, the waterfall will be running. You can also have a BBQ with the facilities here. Great area.

A great place to go and cool off on the warmer days

We arrived at Boonoo Boonoo Falls late in the afternoon, and didn't have enough time to fully appreciate the area. The wlak around the falls is easy, and the views are great. Next time, we'll allow the best part of a day to take in all the walks and sights, and to have a swim at the base of the falls.

The falls are absolutely beautiful. The facilities provided by National Parks are great for family picnic's. After visiting Bald Rock, we nearly didn't visit on our way home because of the detour off the main road. We would have been kicking ourselves! It's a must if you're visiting Bald Rock.
