All the help you need to explore Cooma and the surrounding areas. Souvenirs and maps available. We got all the information we needed for our weekend in Adaminaby from this Visitor Centre. They are located right next to the park in the mains stree.
if you are wanting information on the area or else where out from Cooma call in here first before heading up into the Mountians or continue with your trip staff are always helpful
As always when we arrive in a town we visit the information centre. Cooma has very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we came away armed with plenty to do whilst in Cooma.
I went in to ask about the areas around Cooma and they were the only ones to be able to give me info on Jindabyne and Thredbo in detail . They were really friendly as most Aussie country towns are. Please visit them and show them your appreciation Enjoy
We went in to find out what to do in Cooma and came out feeling like we were so welcome to be there. The staff gave us heaps of local information about places to visit and things to see that we then had to decide which was the first on the list! These ladies knew about all the best places to eat and stay which is always good. Well done folks!
Great service and knowledgeable about local area. Given some handy hints on where the locals go and discount vouchers for local restaurants & cafes.
Staff were very friendly and helpful but there was a strong bias towards promoting caravan parks and steering away from freedom camping
Very helpful informative local staff who will direct you to the ideal accommodation that suit the budget.
My colleague collects snow globes and she had several to choose from here! The service was excellent - all the info we needed.
Staff were So friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend popping in for advice on local sights and travelling to the snowfields.
Service was exceptional. Great information on places to visit and deals that could be claimed on the snowfields.
We were travelling on to Wagga Wagga the next day and were considering route options. Normally we would have gone across the top on the Snowy Mountains Highway but the staff here were able to warn us of a weather front coming through which would have made the route difficult, if not impassable, and advised on an alternative route.I have used their services on and off for years and have nothing but praise for their professionalism.
We only had a morning to visit Cooma before travelling on to Canberra. We walked into the tourist information centre and were immediately greeted by friendly staff who showed us what we could experience in a few hours. We were given maps and guides and we were on our way. A great tourist centre.
Cooma Caravan Park - is not the place to direct tourists, definitely not with a caravan. The reason why this caravan park isn't on trip adviser is because it's a disgusting place with bad sites, no drive throughs like the guy at the front desk said (this means that awnings are interlocked) & the feral woman who acts like she owns the place is extremely rude. She stalked up to me & without introductions ordered me to move my van 30 cms, so my awning would be in the way for the next caravan & be destroyed when we go to leave in the morning. After I told her to wait as my husbands been driving 6 hrs & is sleeping, she said too bad, get him up & move your van. For absolutely no reason. Disgusting place & disgusting woman that runs the place. Please don't direct your tourists to this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We own 7 parks across Australia, believe me when I say this 1 needs to be shut down , very disappointed.
Was slightly surprised to see this open on a Sunday. Lovely friendly staff, lots of brochures and information on where to go and what to see. Grabbed heaps of info, very glad we stopped by.
