If you go on your own (ie. Without a tour), entrance is 10 CUC per person. At the time of posting, they have shows at 10:30 AM and 4 PM. We got there at 11 AM, so just missed the show. If you don't see a show, there's not much to see. You can see people swimming with the dolphins, but otherwise, there's not much to do. I don't really recommend it. I also am not so sure about swimming with dolphins. It looked fun, but I also felt bad for the dolphin! Your call.
Take a cab and have them pick u up, we did this. We had hired the red convertible buick. Was a quick ride, picked up at the market area and dropped back here. The dolphin show is twice daily, have the hotel reps. to make sure there is a show for that day.
Best meal we had in two weeks in Cuba at the Dolphin place. Petting the Dolphin was amazing. Talented Dolphins. What we didn't like was the way staff hurried people through the lines. They could have been more friendly. Asking for tips for the trainers after their performance and having paid for this as part of excursion is not necessary
Very short program when could with the boat trip leads to a very long day. Spent most of my time going around in circles.
Everybody calls it "swim with", but it's just you and your family in the water /w them and they do a few things, you pet them and times flies, but its very relaxing. If you want to actually swim /w them, then go do the one in Varadero, that was awesome. The restaurant food was good and the service very good.Over all a great experience, we did it as a package.
Interacting with dolphins has been my dream since I was a toddler and I finally experienced it! I can certainly say the experience is one I will never forget. The meal after the interaction was the best meal I had on vacation (I had chicken, my sister said the lobster was great too). The staff on the boat were great, although I would love to see a staff member take photos of groups during the day and sell them at the end (we had this service in Varadero and it was such a great idea). Fun trip and worth the money!
This was an awesome day, the interaction with the dolphins was alot of fun. We had a delicious lobster lunch.
Beautifull day food and drinks where good. The staff on the boat to great care of us. Took picture with the dolphins and they did a little show for us.
Fun couple hour trip to see amazing creatures. Friendly trainers, knowledgeable. Animals appeared well taken care of and facilities were also clean and well maintained.
We had to wait almost 30 minutes from the time our boat docked until the restaurant opened. However, the lobster lunch was awesome and worth the wait.
Went on a day adventure on a catamaran and one of the stops was the aquarium. My son and I did the dolphin interaction. The actual time was short but very memorable. My son loved it! I recommend getting the picture, it is pretty good quality and inexpensive. The envelope is even a keepsake. I would suggest bringing a plastic bag, grocery size, if you're going on the boat...you do get wet and personal items are just stored under seating benches and maybe a simple folder of sorts because it bends easily, especially in the wind. The meal was tasty but average. There seemed to be a waiting time before it was our meal time, but we just watched the Dolphins. There is a small gift shop. Buy your underwater/waterproof camera before coming to Cuba....couldn't get one anywhere! The standing ledge is a bit slippery and you're just about thigh deep for the average adult during this experience.
It was great but short. The meal served there was very good. The Dolphins are amazing but you can't wear your camera (I have a gopro) while interacting. This is so you spend 20pesos on their photos....no thanks.
Disappointed that we didn't pre-book a swim. Must be booked at least 3 days ahead. The show was nicely done and about 40 minutes long. Not much else to do there.
Similar to the Dolphinarium in Bahia de Naranjo in Holguin but this one is accessible by road through the causeway. An excellent choice for the family if you are looking at interacting with Dolphins, watching a show with such intelligent creatures or even enjoying a succulent lobster meal. If you book the Sun Cruise Catamaran Tour, this place is included, so do not miss it. It is worth every penny. Hopefully, the company that runs it will look at expanding and building a splash park right next to it.
Go and swim with the dolphins! If you are lucky nobody is there and you can have your "private" show!
