grumpy doyle's - reading, mass. irish pub

Food was nothing special and we went on a day when there was apparently a lot going on. Dunno if that's the way it always is, but we had to walk through a crowd to get to the restaurant. Then as we dined at a table shoved off to the side, they moved furniture around to prepare for something going on later than night. Hate to be grumpy about it, but really killed our dining experience. Won't be returning. I can make sandwiches at home.

I've been here a few times and so far they have been very consistent in providing good food. For the drinks, they have a decent selection of beers and other cocktails. There is a decent amount of TVs in the restaurant which is nice when you just want to hang out and watch the game. Also, on Friday and Saturday nights, there is sometimes live musicians who sing a few sets. For those looking for a small/medium casual bar, I would highly recommend coming here.
