I was very surprised when I tried Fossil Cove for the first time. Great tasting craft beer and the bartenders are very knowledgeable. My favorite was the Orange Cream and their stout (I think it was oatmeal?). Worth a visit!

Arkansas has a growing beer scene, and Fossil Cove is definitely at the top of the list. The brewery and tasting room have a great, laid-back atmosphere, and the bartenders and owner are always incredibly friendly and willing to chat. As far as the beer goes, Fossil Cove has their usual taps - The Birch Ave Blonde (a personal favorite), the Oatty Stout, La Brea Brown, and their Paleo Ale - as well as a variety of seasonals. While they don't provide food, many local food trucks will stop by. Wednesday night trivia with Nomads food truck is a popular combo. I believe they were also the crowd favorite at the 2013 Fayetteville Foam Fest. If you love beer and are in Northwest Arkansas, you can't miss coming to the Cove!
