Sacajawea is a beautiful riverside park along the Yellowstone with sloughs and a pond, sports fields, benches, trails and more. It is well kept and well loved…where Livingstonians relax and enjoy some downtime with family and friends.

It has a great "walled in" playground for the young kids. Also, went to the farmers market there in June.

Its ok as it goes for a park, just nothing out of the ordinary.Probably not the best section of town but it is what it is.

we were there with a conference at the bandstand. Great spot and you can fish the Yellowstone river right there.

Nice city park with plenty of tables under shaded trees but wish the park had grills. There were also horseshoe pits and playground equipment.

This town is so quaint, quiet and clean! The park was immaculate, with little people playing about, adults jogging and lots of dogs taking a stroll with their people. During the summer months the town has Farmer's Market on Wednesday afternoons. How incredibly cool to see the community come out and support one another and enjoy live music and kids break dancing. We live in an overcrowded and bustling city in Texas- THIS town, THIS park- this was such a treat to see happy laid back folks enjoying life. I loved it.

Three days of terrific music, food and good times. Weather was perfect and beer was cold---what else do you need in Montana?

When I used to visit Livingston, I found the entire town to dog-friendly. Almost everyone had a dog and took them everywhere they went--parks, stores, and even churches. I still visit frequently, but I do not see many dogs. And a number of ways, Livingston seems to be losing its small-western-town culture. For a city park, I would rate Sacajawea new to top with its lovely river and mountain views. But dogs are not allowed. Livingston has a dog park, but this is not it.

Pretty little in town park. Great place to stretch your legs if you are in Livingston. Lots of wildlife and a wide variety of plant life makes for a scenic experience. We were in town without a car so it was a nice way to try to acclimate to the high altitude. Within easy walking distance from downtown and the hotel area near the highway.

Livingston, Montana's Sacajawea Park is very beautiful with views of nearby mountain ranges & the Yellowstone River. Sacajawea Park is a great place for "family & friends get-togethers", picnics, playing ball games, tennis, riding bicycles, feeding the waddling ducks & Canadian geese or just walking along the banks of the Yellowstone River that was explored by Captain Clark & Indian Guide Sacajawea of the “Lewis & Clark” Expedition in July 1806.Check-out Google Images for "livingston montana sacagawea statue" and you'll likely want to visit! Awesome place! In the summer months there is a nearby City Pool for public use at a very reasonable price for the entertainment. Farmer's Market selling fresh produce, & local goodies (such as Neptune's Micro-brew) & bands on Wednesday late afternoons in the summer months.Sacajawea Park "Summerfest" is a family-friendly three-day outdoor music festival on the banks of the Yellowstone River since 1999, offering some great entertainment for "a ~$20 weekend ticket of FUN (2013 price)" with vendors selling food, drinks & micro-brew beers.

We enjoyed this park very much when walking our dogs. We always carry poo-poo bags, but the park provided them, as well. We could walk along the river path along the Yellowstone River, as well as walking over the manicured lawns with the beautiful leafy trees. We would recommend this park for picnics and a great place to stretch your legs!

Mature trees and pretty good good combined with pleasant picnic area make this a great gathering place. I was reminded of city parks in the midwest - but then the very Western Yellowstone River runs right along the far edge of the park and you can look up and see the amazing Absaroka Peaks.

It was chilly so we drove by this park which is close to the Yellowstone River. It would be a great place to picnic or hang out if it was not so cold.

We were amazed at this lovely City Park. It is a circular design that includes ample parking, a great covered play area, a lovely gazebo, many trees and lush grass. The location is well marked and easy to find and worth looking for.

It was a 700 participant Cycle Greater Yellowstone ride (yes, on bicycles). We camped in the park and it was great. Plenty of grass (after a hot dusty day on the road) and we had time for a dip in the Yellowstone River (which runs along the edge of the park) with the mountains in the background. Plus only a short 6 block walk to town.
