Great burgers at this little bar, service was good. Cheap drinks and good food. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

When we walked it, all locals sitting at the bar stopped talking, turned heads, watched us sit at high table then resumed talking. Thought--Oh, no. Need a quick exit plan. But turned out to be VERY friendly, service was great albeit the locals looked rough. Met the owner and made instant friends. Good drinks and EXCELLENT prices!!

Took the wife and the sports car out to see Mt. Rushmore. Trust me it wasn't my destionation but that dosn't really matter anyway does it .Anyway after a great run out and headed back, of course by a different route, we had a little dificulity. Overheating. Of course with a convertible you can run the heater at full rip and gain some driveabilty but when you can no longer hold up speed limit plus % something must be done. I rolled into Harloton Mt and drove by the usual smalltown services until I noticed Ewing's Tire and Oil Services. They looked liked they could handle minor repairs and when asked they, the owner and his mechanic, said they would give it their best. I asked if there was a good watering hole and they directed me to the old town two blocks away. Don't miss Harlowton it's so cool but it is a block off the Hwy. It has a NAPA store too.So I asked a local girl where she would have a beer while waiting for car repairs. This is So this is where some of the locals take there lunck so the food must be ok. The Bar back is one of the nicest Iv'e seen and I drink in the Lotus in Portland. It's got both brass and mother of peral inlay and rumor has it the original recling naked lady is still behind the mirrors. As an added attraction the Barkeep was of Pacific Nonth West origon so it was fun to compair and contrast weather.. It's verty sad that their old school three story hotel burned. But there is no reason thact should detract form your enjoyment of the fridently and helpful attitudee the loical residents have.
