I don't go to Casino's only to gamble, there's got to be something else to offer to get my money and time. I love Twin River's assortment of slots and table games, but the events they offer and their staff are what keep my business. I love the MMA fights and more importantly the amount of parking available whenever there is a big one. The neighborhood is clean, safe and has quite a few adjacent must sees (Lincoln Woods State Park) where you can make more of a full day out of it if you want to bring your family or significant other.If you're a Rhode Islander it doesn't hurt that you're keeping the tax revenues and jobs right here in RI either. If you like to gamble a bit and enjoy a night out, give it a shot before heading to Mohegan Sun or any of those new MA casino's.

This is a reply I wrote to another "reviewer" who "gets it" regarding the great casino Twin River is......I get so angry when I see negative reviews about this place.......I agree with you, the hosts couldn't be better. My host is Drew, who is unbelievable! Always there to assist. I feel like he's a friend by now, not just my host! What is with all these negative reviews?? My husband and I LOVE the VIP lounge, the girls who work there are THE BEST, and I have to say I do win there more than the other CT casinos. What is with these negative, uneducated people writing dumb reviews and complaining?? Sore losers because they chose the wrong slot machines?? Unbelievable!!

My husband and I have been coming every Friday and Saturday night to hear the bands now for over a year. Lately it is poorly manage the table are not set like they use to be. We have ask why isn't Tony here anymore we have been told he was moved to the Wicked good bar and grill. Bring Tony back to the lighthouse bar he did his job he had things under control but now it is a mess. Every one wants him back the customer and staff! !!!!!!

That's all I can say......................Been going 2-3 times a week for about a year. Dropping 600.00 to a 1000 bucks on slots. definitely a noticeable big drop in payouts ( at lease half of what they paid last year ), lots of free game.....no wins.Not sure why, they want people to come, the payout sucks, so why go? Went to Johnny Rockets last night and had the worse hamburger in my lift, shame on them. The place is dirty, Smokey and plenty of rude people.So I guess for a 20 minutes drive south I'll put my money on the Ct casinos. Good luck attracting people to the new hotel.

We whack maybe 6 different casinos a year while on vacations. This one is closest to our home, we go once and a while to try our luck, but mainly to eat at Fred + Steve's. The casino is clean, ample parking, and handicapped accessible. The machines are a different "class" than other places, but play and award mostly similar. Good selection of machines with a separate floor for non-smokers. Their point system is very poor, the comps here aren't great. The parking lot is poorly lit, seems to be a lack of security in the lot at night and the place is always like a wind tunnel walking in! It's ok...expect to lose your $ like all casinos and you will like it...maybe!

Don't Inspect To Win At The Slots The Worst Pay Out In North America 78.4 Overall Not Even Legal.They Shud Chang The Name To Twin Robbery Iam Only Saying That States With History Of Corruption Shut No Be Permitted To Have Gaming Licenses.

Went to Twin River after the new year with a few friends. We had originally planned on going to Foxwoods to check out the table games but due to unfortunate timing we didn't have enough time to make the drive worth it. Instead we decided to try out Twin River. I've been hearing the radio adverts for months now that they have table games and while I was in no way expecting anything like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun I wasn't expecting such a terrible place. The place reminds me of a bus station. The air smokey and gross, dirty bathrooms, dirty floor. I didn't want to touch the tables as they seemed grimy as well. Yes they did have table games. But they were buried in amongst the slot machines and finding a game you want to play is hard. Also while we were there the minimum bet was never less than $25. I'm sorry but even Foxwoods have minimums of $10 or $15. The deals didn't seem very friendly either. One of the fun things about gaming is that at most places the dealer is on your side. He/She wants you to win..encourages you and joking around. Here they didn't say a word. The dealer we had at the blackjack table scowled the whole time. We had planned on staying for dinner but after about an hour of the noise and nasty smoke filled air we decided it was best to get out of there and go somewhere else for dinner. For people living in the SE Massachusetts area and looking for a place to go I HIGHLY recommend taking the extra time to drive to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun versus stepping foot in Twin River.

I visited briefly today ( Dec 24, 2014) to play some slots and try some card games. I didn't spend an extravagant amount of money since I didn't plan on spending a lot of time there. But I lost the money I did spend and from the people around me I heard that most of the time they never won anything as well. Personally I like Mohegan Sun a lot better. Also since there is smoking allowed downstairs and no smoking upstairs I ended up getting a huge headache from the smoke, which normally doesn't happen to me, but i dont know I just could not take the smoke in there.

I have been here several times and getting lucky is very rare unfortunately. I do enjoy the Johnny Rockets at Twin River as the food is always fresh and delicious. The bathrooms at Twin River are usually disgusting and need to be cleaned more often. The whole place is usually dirty and it would be nice to get more of your money back when you play slots!

used to be a lot of fun , before the put in table games in, now I just go up stairs to play slots, but I was told there gona put tables up there soon

I like to bet on the horses a few times a year such as the triple crown and this year I bet on the Breeders cup. The only thing nice I can say about Twin River is I can get in and out very quickly. The place is a dump, the staff are Rhode Island public sector employees so they are just biding their time to get their pensions. The large section of the venue reeks of smoke. It is repulsive. Whoever designed this place never took into account that smoke rises. Why did they make the smoking section on the lower level? The pari mutual is upstairs where I get in and out as quick as possible. RIPTA the local mass transit authority has buses that uses this as a stop for the dregs from the projects in Rhode Island they are either called housing developments or senior housing, but they are the projects. The advertising show glamourous people gambling when it looks like old people who are not healthy enough to play shuffle board.Like I said the only thing this place has going for it, is its proximity to my house. There are times I have driven up to Plainridge but it is not worth it.

Show excellent, surpised and pleased at small venue.Will travel again for more entertainment comedy.
