This review is based upon the New York Rangers / Buffalo Sabres on March 14, 2015. I was quite impressed by the facility...what an upgrade over the former Memorial Auditorium! I was able to get tickets in section 116 online, and we were just inside the blue line - great view. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the fans were, regardless of which team they were supporting. Not that many NY Ranger fans where we were sitting, but there was some friendly back and forth between them. It certainly makes for a good fan experience, especially with children / teens with us. No worrying about getting spat upon or having beer poured over you like in other NHL arenas. We were dropped off at the game, but parking appeared to be available at the time. Food and drinks were no more expensive than other NHL games and the game experience was very good.Buffalo - I hope you get the #1 draft pick this year. Some short term pain will equal long term gain.

We saw Garth Brooks in the early show, and everything went very smoothly. Parking was confusing because of so many private lots with prices all over the map, and a parking garage right next door, but on a street where traffic directors didn't seem to want to let you go - understandably since it is so close to the front doors. But they did a great job of getting all of the fans out while the later show fans were coming in. Traffic control seemed to keep things moving once we got to the car. What further impressed me was that I lost my credit card at some point during the night, and they tracked me down and called me the next morning to let me know that they had found it. It's not like my phone number was on the card,so they had to go to some efffort to track me down. I really appreciated that added bit of customer service.

Not a bad seat in venue with excellent services and ease of access. lots of bars within a few steps from each seating area. Very comfortable padded seats.

We went to Garth Brook`s concert last Friday for the 2nd show at 10h30.We received an email with parking suggestions away from the Center as not to cause traffic congestion due to people coming out of the previous concert and the ones coming to the late one. All went super well and there was not much traffic, considering there was 20,000 people for each one.We were seated pretty high but had a good view. People should not stand up as the people immediately behind cannot see a thing.Other than that, it was great.

Went to see the Garth Brooks concert this past Friday. Even with the large crowd of over 20,000it was very organized. With the trolley's bringing people in and finding our seats we were seated within 15minutes. This is a wonderful venue for a concert like this. We had "nose bleed" seats but we still had a wonderful view of the Garth, the only thing was the lights were on the top of the screen so 1/4 of the top of the screen was cut off. I would definitely go to another concert or event there. Thanks for a wonderful time

Easy access. Entry to concert was quick. Seats are a bit close but normal for that type of arena. Outside traffic is kept to a minimum for people leaving the concert.

The Niagara Center is huge, and it has a really big lobby when you walk in. There is lots of parking ($$) so drive around so you don't pay the highest price. There are lots of food vendors, the usual pizza, popcorn, etc., but the lines seem to always be very long. I have been here many times, the latest being to see the Harlem Globetrotters. There is lots of security and I am sad to say, this last time they were not very polite. Seats are all good, I've been in the lower ones and all the way to the top.

My husband & I went here twice in 2014; once on October 1st, 2014 for a Sabres game versus the Mapleleafs & once on 12-30-2014 to see Tran Siberian Orchestra!!!! For the Sabres game, we were in section 106, forgot rows, & seats, but awesome view! I paid for these tickets off of Ebay, & got a great deal: $35 for 2 tickets. It was a preseason game, but great for a (date night) with my husband while my oldest took care of her younger sister for us. We did however stop at the Sabres store as a treat for all 5 of us: bought the kids cheap souvenirs $10 or under, & my husband got himself a new sabres cap, & I found a nice Sabres necklace to wear with my earrings from previous games we've went to here. Our favorite place to eat nearby is the Pearl Street Bar & Grill so we don't get suckered in to grabbing snacks and/or drinks at the game. Gets you full, & your ready for a great game to watch. The Tran Siberian Orchestra we went to at First Niagara Center blows your mind away. Our seating was in Section 121, row 18, seats 5 & 6. The View was SPECTACULAR! No light show even compares. This was our first time seeing them. I won tickets from a local radio station, & my husband said it was on his Bucket List! We didnt purchase any souvenirs, but again we grabbed a bite to eat at Pearl Street Bar & Grill, parking was only $10. The pictures I got to take from the show were souvenirs enough! Just the best!

My husband and daughter were there this weekend for a Ranger/Buffalo game and loved the First Niagara Center. They said it was big and clean. The people were all so friendly!

Great place for concerts and games. Food is average and they could use more variety of foods. Lines get long.

Went to see a NHL game here and was very impressed with the arena. Not a bad seat in the house, very welcoming, lots of bathrooms and concessions throughout, so overall, it's a very nice experience. Ticket prices are fairly reasonable as well. Scoreboards and signs are reasonable too and not too flashy and kudos for the ice scraping crews at time out. It was a fun game and we would go back.

I love traveling to see different NHL arenas and this was one of my favorites. It's big, and has it's own "feel." The fans are some of the friendliest fans i've encountered in my travels, and it's a great hockey city. Highly recommended stop on a hockey tour!Check out the 716 bar before or after the game, really awesome hockey bar right down the street, with such good food and drinks!!

Went to a Sabres game with a visitor to town. Never been to the First Niagara Centre before, but i was impressed. New, clean, well-run, staff are friendly, seats at $80 for 7 rows back is tremendous value compared to what passes for hockey in Toronto. The parking was reasonably priced and everything seemed safe. I'd come back, for sure. Now, if you just work on those Sabres....

I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza before going to my seat to watch the game. Everybody was helpful, even the person that wanded me for metal objects, as I asked him where to find my seat. Once I was pointed in the right direction it was easy find my seat as everything is clearly labeled.

Grandmaat40

The concert was great however there should have been some sort of posting as to when people could enter the venue. Seating began an hour or so before the performance. Not all souvenier stands had bags so people were juggling their purchases.
