Really nice mini golf course-challenging, unique décor. A bit pricey but worth the time. Not a course to expect to whip through.
Been here twice now, and enjoyed it. And not just because we brought the grand kids for a round of miniature golf...but, when was the last time you played? Course is not flat, has water traps and hidden passages and is just fun no matter what your age! Gelato is served plus batting cages and other skill tests. Age is what you make it...but if in Vestal, NY and looking for some out door fun that isn't too strenuous nor too expensive...putt this on your list.
OK. We're not much for the mini golf, or any of the other activities. However, we really like their ice cream. They make it in small batches on site and the flavors are different. Sure they have vanilla, chocolate, & strawberry; but they also have specialty flavors that are made with fresh ingredients. For example, they've been having blueberry ice cream made with fresh blueberries; mango with real mango pieces, you get the picture.
Always a great time. Moves relatively fluid, always clean, safe, and nice crowd. Great for adults, kids, and families.
This is one of the best mini golf courses that my family and I have gone to. It has really neat challenging holes and is very well maintained. The staff has always been very friendly and we go several times a year. If you are lucky when you are playing you might just catch a glimpse of some deer frolicking in the nearby meadow/woods.
I told my date Yvonne to pick at place to go before we had lunch on a Saturday and she choose Chuckster's. We played a nice round of Putt Putt. It was a good place to just spend some time talking and playing. It was a great course. The place is very well maintained and the staff was awesome.
This was the second time visiting Chuckster's and it was just great experience. We only played mini-golf, but there were other attractions too, rock wall, batting cage etc. Well kept, with unusual putting holes you don't typically see. Longest hole & water based holes were great! We would definitely return.
This was a fun miniature golf course! It is in good shape and has some interesting features that make it challenging. There are several holes that your ball goes in the water and winds up on the green further down. It advertises one of the holes to be the longest in the country. They also have other activities there that are good for the kids.
A large, clean, nicely laid out mini golf course. Takes a while to do. Haven't done the other activities there.
Visiting Chucksters on the 17th July 2012 was a dream. I was looking forward to visiting the attraction for quite a while, since the previous time when I came to New York from London. Whilst the Brits may not generally play Baseball nor Softball by a huge amount, not a lot of adjusting was required to get used to facing the ball in the cages, with a non-bounced shot being slammed to the back wall which I believe is known as a “home-run”.I had not done rock/wall climbing or a jumpster (what a great name!) for a considerable amount of time yet I thoroughly enjoyed climbing the four walls right to the top so that my Aunt Pani could take some spectacular snaps. Although I had not been on a jumpster for quite some time, my single enjoyable event awarded me with the capability of doing a back flip, which seemed like a personal achievement that could only be accomplished at a wonderful location like Chucksters, New York! With the brilliant backing of Joseph Underwood throughout the evening’s events, I successfully dragged Randy Stutzman into the aeroball where he defeated me after falling slightly behind. It was what I thought to be the best workout ever constructed, with five minutes of bouncing around, including target aiming, darting around limited areas for catching, throwing with power and (hopefully not to cheesily) being on the ball! It is the best possible exercise imagined by anybody, and all would wish for a follow up five minute workout at the end of the game.Feeling hot with all of the special sports the park has to offer? Whether or not you have a towel (unfortunately in my case it was not but with a wet car), splash over to the Shoot n’ Shower with the opponent (once again Randy Stutzman) to shoot some hoops from a near range with variously sized basketballs. Shoot for half minute rounds and whoever does not win (both contestants if it ends as a tie), gets soaked with water a couple of seconds. It’s the best way to cool off unless Randy triumphantly wins and only gets wet once during the tie…leaving me drenched but cool!Last but not least one must not forget the magnificent mini-golf in the frequently described “golf-park”. With a "19-hole" golf course and a practice green including the world’s longest hole, why go anywhere else in the world for mini-golf? It is very enjoyable and in fact I did not realize I was walking to the start of the longest hole until asked to hurry off by other players. This was after skipping a couple of holes due to the vast amount of time having fun with the other activities at the world-renowned park, Chucksters.I can now picture myself returning to visit the States next year, primarily due to each of the thrilling activities at Chucksters!-Dev Shah, Wembley, London, U.K.
If you want your kids to have fun for the day or for a party...can't beatChuckster's!
We spent an hour at Chuckster's with our 9-year-old son. He loved it! Did both the climbing wall and bungee-trampoline thing .... He had a blast. Miniature golf looked great, and we looked at several of the holes, but we didn't do it because the line was long (it was a vacation day so the place was packed) and we had other plans. Will go back for sure next time in Vestal.
A above average mini golf course for this area, would be competative in family vacation spots. Claims to have the worlds longest mini golf hole. Also has other features, jumpers, batting cages, rock climbing, etc. Very family oriented.
