first presbyterian church

this is another of those "old" churches which is scrambling for membership, but even an atheist would admire the magnificent stone-cut walls and tiffany windows... we were privileged to attend a wedding here and even our grandson, then 4, was awed into silence... very nice

I'm writing a review of a church of which I have only view the exterior because I am so intrigued by the fact that is has 6 original Tiffany windows and 6 others that contain Tiffany glass. Self-guided tours are held from May till the end of October (I missed it by 8 days!) I had to content myself with walking around the church then coming home to view them online. I have promised myself I will go back in the spring, God willing, to see them, as the church's site says, "in person."
