wellin museum of art

We have visited the Wellin Museum of Art twice now, each time experiencing the most unique exhibits we have seen in a while.

This is not a large museum, so it is hard to recommend a long drive just to see the Wellin, but it would be an absolute mistake to come to the area and miss this art museum. They put on challenging shows, it is a first rate venue but not stuffy. Modern and crisp, but still welcoming.

Big investment for very few exhibits. Student senior show in May 2013 was the best exhibit since the museum opened. Money should have been saved to keep tuition down.

The Wellin is a great addition to the Hamilton area. Interesting exhibits well displayed and a wonderful teaching facility

This is a new addition to Hamilton College and features a rotating display of modern artworks that are most interesting as well as artifacts and photograpy from their collection.

Mostly modern art. The first floor cases have some antiquities, but no labels! Art for the sake of art

Wellin is a beautiful new building on Hamilton campus. This is a great new venue for a world class top institution.
