I have been a season pass holder for many, many, MANY years, and what this group of actors and actresses are able to do is nothing short of phenomenal. Popular Broadway musicals are performed in two week intervals. While one show is being performed, the next show (using the same cast!) is in rehearsal. There are many options for times to attend and for pricing. The shows appeal to young and old alike. You absolutely can NOT go wrong in attending ANY of the MacHaydn performances. Should you go on a Friday or Saturday night, do not miss the after-show coffee house----entertainment provided by the cast members in a night club setting while you enjoy homemade desserts and coffee!!

I have now seen six shows at Mac-Haydn over a two year period and the talent level is through the roof! During the same time period, I've seen five Broadway productions, and you honestly cannot tell the difference between the lead characters talent level. The theater is well air-conditioned on warm Summer nights and the refreshments are inexpensive. The seats could use an update, but the shows are so good, you'll forget about the seats for a couple of hours. I don't understand why every performance isn't sold out. This is the best value for your money in the entire Capital Region/Upstate New York!

We have been going for years to this great theater. Just got home from the opening performance of The Full Monty. Never laughed so hard for such a long time. It is definitely a must see, or maybe I should say, must go to. To give you a little heads up, I'm 76 and my partner is 79, and he laughed as hard and as much as I did.

We returned to our favorite theater for a fantastic show, Young Frankenstein. This cast was exceptional and we especially thought Igor, stole the show. We were lucky enough to have caught this same actor as Cosmos in Singing in the Rain, and he is so wonderful! . This theater never disappoints! We can't wait to attend more!!

Mac-Haydn is a wonderful night out!! Dinner in Chatham first, then a wonderful show, followed by the actors performing musical selections and homemade desserts, coffee/ tea to follow...

This was an excellent production. The tap dance numbers were outstanding and it was well acted and staged. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon and you just don't see this type of old school dance production much anymore.

We love the Mac-Haydn Theatre. We saw an outstanding production, Broadway-quality, of 42nd Street. This theatre in the round accomplishes what seems to be impossibly active talented dancing on the small center stage. The cast were really talented singers, dancers and actors with professional direction. We've seen productions in several other seasons and you just can't go wrong here.

After traveling around the Berkshires with all the summer 'cottages' of the rich and famous from the Gilded age and attending a concert a restored theater in Great Barrington, the Mac Haydn is different. The small towns along the way in New York didn't have the same small town appeal that we felt in Lenox and Stockbridge (but then I'm sure they're just less on the tourist route). Then the theater itself is a little country theater - nothing very fancy. The outside has the appearance of a country building - rough hewn. The inside is simple with a snack counter (I had a hot dog). I sort of felt like I was going to a school production. But then once inside, it was nice and comfortable. It was arranged in a theater in round so everyone had a good seat. The actors were good and the Sondheim songs were well performed. It was an enjoyable afternoon --- but different from the rest of my Berkshire week.

This was the second time we visited this theater on a trip to the Berkshires. We really enjoyed it again. They do an amazing job at this little place. It is a theater in the round. They really do so much with all that they have. The talent is very good. It's surprising to see them put on the caliber of shows that they do. We will be back again.

If you enjoy theatre, this is a nice time out. Small stage, but amazing how well it's transformed to fit the play of the evening. The children's plays are particularly fun.

Very good performance. Music was great. The actors did an excellent job. Very professional.A very enjoyable evening. Highly recommended.

A friend gave us tickets to see Gypsy so we had to see it. The building is old, the grounds are nice, the seats are comfortable, and the sodas are small. The crowd seemed like a church crowd with many older people there. The theater was nice but I think it could use some sprucing up, or at least some paint. Then again maybe that is part of the charm of this little place. There are no bad seats here. The show was fun the music was fantastic.

We saw Gypsy last night and it was super! This theatre is like a step back in time. Very friendly people in a really cool atmosphere. Definitely go here if you have a chance!

This tiny theatre puts out non-stop amazing shows from June to mid September. Every seat is great and each show full of the best brodway talent around. Go you will wonder what took you so long to experience this jem!

My grandchildren (4 1/2, 6, and 7) love coming to Mac -Haydn Childrens Theartre.We read the book first, then enjoyed the performance. I was impressed how they compared the differences of the book and theatre. They were thrilled to meet the cast.
