The place is actually called McLoughlin’s Astoria bar. This neighborhood watering whole has been there for a long time and I was surprised to find it still in the same location. It looks dusted off and freshly painted. I never cared much for Irish food, but at least drinks in Irish pubs are usually decent size and reasonably priced. Well, this is not the case here: drinks are miserable in size even if they are OK priced. But the rub is that they only take cash, nice touch if you are the owner. But not a consumer. Skip it.
