This is an upscale fly shop located on the Frying Pan River. They have a beautiful assortment of rods, reels, flies, clothing and gadgets. However, both the equipment and services come with a steep price tag.I have dealt with this establishment several times and always felt like the money comes before the customer. ("Why do you go back," you ask. Well, they have somewhat of a monopoly on the fishing guide licenses--long story). The shop definitely caters to the out-of-town crowd where money is no object. They don't have much time or patience for the individual angler on a budget. However, their guides usually find fish and once you are out of the shop and on the water, it is a pleasant experience. If you are new to the sport and money is no concern, this is the place to consider.
