The scenery along the way to the drop off point in the river and that of the mountains while rafting is a beauty that only God Himself could create. Big Creek Expeditions has a gentler float for those with young children and one that is sure to please most adrenaline junkies. We had a blast and cannot wait to do it again!

We had 8 people in our group (with ages being 17-68) and Big Creek Expeditions was the only company that had a raft that we could all in. The "TANK" as they called it may have reduced some of the rapids but it was a great time and provided enough excitement for the younger guys and our guide Carter was awesome! Definitely would recommend this to anyone!

This is a must do attraction in TN. The staff was awesome, the river was wild and my family and I had a great time. There are many white water rafting companies out there but I found this one to be the best. I would do this every time we go. They take plenty of pics and they give them to you at the end for a cheap price.

We did a rafting trip on Saturday and the zip lines on Sunday. This was by far the most fun we have ever had while staying in Gatlinburg. Val was the best guide and we had a blast with her! She was very informative and just made our experience the best. Everyone here from the guides to the office staff were great. No problems just great results. I would highly recommend this place. The only bad thing was it didn't last long enough.

This place was great all around. Make sure to request Brad for your guide....he was amazing! We told him to make it interesting for us, and so he did!Three of us wanted to go for an exciting swim and that's just what he did!Knows his stuff, talked and made it fun! We recommend this place!

What an amazing experience!!!! I have to admit, I was scared, convinced I was going pop right out of that raft and go for an unwanted ride down the river. I am pleased to admit, I was wrong.... We were very fortunate to have Terrell as our guide. Now in saying that I'm sure the other guides did a great job. But Terrell shared his experiences and knowledge with all kinds of rivers all over the area and shares his very own experience in a kayak. Thank you for coming in on you day off(lol..) to guide us down the river, we wouldn't have wanted any other guide!!!

Not the cheapest rafting company in Hartford Tennessee.. But definitely a first class operation. No surprises. Brad kept a running dialogue the whole time. The river has three class 4 rapids in a bunch of class 3 Rapids. No long stretches of still water. The river is controlled with a dam that releases extra water to make rafting easy.

Great time at Big Creek. Clean facilities, great people and lots of fun rafting down the river. Our guide Benji was awesome!!!

Our group ranged in age from 20 to 65 and everyone had a great time. I would recommend our guide, Carter. He was pretty funny and very knowledgable. The younger guys were in front and they got to face the rapids head on while others, not so interested in something that intense, sat towards the middle. It worked out perfect. There was also some down time when we jumped in for a swim. I think this place is slightly more expensive than others but I thinks it's worth it.

We had a great time on our rafting trip! An experience the whole family will treasure for years to come. Our guide Brad was very informative and kept us laughing the whole trip. Big creek expeditions is awesome!

Had two first time rafters on our trip but Val, our guide, made them feel very comfortable. The rapids were great and we were given a lot of river history during the slow periods. You have to work on this ride but it is worth it. A lot of pictures are taken during the trip, which we didn't know about until after but they turned out great and we bought the CD. Have fun!

Our family went white water rafting while staying in Pigeon Forge. We loved it! The drive to Hartford is about 1 hr. so be prepared. The rafting is about six miles along the Pigeon river. To start out with the details you might feel a little afraid but the rafting isn't bad at all. Our guide, Justin, was great. Will definitely do it again.
