5 rivers adventures

Ok, can't write a review for people that were not there. My family of 3 had planned a trip for my daughters birthday. We had booked the trip over the phone and were charged on our credit card. Drove the 2 1/2 hours for the trip and low and behold nobody but Dan the landlord was there and that was after we looked around for him. I understand that there are things that we can't foresee but good gosh get a reminder on your phone that I have prepaid people coming up to ride in my boats. Call them, have a working number that the payee can get in touch with you, give Dan a working number. Dan was very helpful directing us to USA rafting right down the road. So my cc co. will be getting a call tomorrow as well as this co. Sigh...............................

My first my husband and sons 3 rd and 4 th time white water rafting. We chose a class "3&4" trip. Our guide, Clarke was awesome. He was pleasant, knowledgeable of the River and tactics. I always felt safe, and we all had a great time. He was abler to offer us info re; hiking that proved to make for a wonderful day. Highly recommend it.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time rafting with Josh. He was very knowledgeable of the area and entertained us with fun facts and jokes along the way. The river was moving and it made for a great ride. Would recommend this small outfit in a minute over the bigger ones. Ask for Josh as your guide

My husband and I was a little hesitant when we first arrived. This is a smaller company than the others that had a lot of rafts. Sooo glad we didn't change. The guides were great and made our experience more personal. The other, larger, groups were on the water and it seemed they were herded through like cattle. (and they were a little rude to our guides) We were able to take our time and enjoy the rapids. Guides were perfessional and knowledgable. Thanks guys for making our trip wonderful!!!

I took my family to fiverivers for whitewater rafting. It was a the best vacation of our lives. when we got to the put in the water seemsremarkably calm. But befor u kno itWe were rafting towards a big splashy hole of water when another boat from another company came from riverside and cut us off running into our boat.I fell into water and started to freak out.I remembered what Zacksaid. That my p.f.d. would float my weight of 350lbs . but not knowing how to swim was on my mind. Before I knew it I seen a bear looking me in the eye pulling at me.it was zach and his cute furry face to the rescue.he snatched me up like i was a trout in a rapid.. he pulled me in on top of him as he shouted commands to my family. He took exceptional care of us all and shared interesting things about the river.and took us surfing n that big splashy hole n the river.team working family is what we were.even his buddy guides josh and Clark were a part of his show.they were all great.a team of there own. What a show!

This rafting company was recommended to me by the concierge at Summer Bay Resorts Gatlinburg & I am quite thankful for that. This is not one of those rafting experiences that resemble a ride at Disney World where you feel it's the same cookie cutter ride everytime. I was fortunate enough to get Clark as our rafting guide who is a consummate professional & his river expertise is second to none. Clark took us on the rafting time of our lives to the degree that my wife and I are now actively looking for similar opportunities in other states & rivers for comparable adventures. If you're in Gatlinburg for a visit I highly recommend you schedule a rafting experience with 5 Rivers & ask for Clark as your guide. There are many rafting companies in the area however they pale in comparison to the ride you will be afforded by 5 Rivers. Cannot praise highly enough!

Josh and Clark are awesome. They took our family (and another group) out at the last minute because of a mix up at another location and we had a great time. They had already closed up for the night and made a special trip for our two groups. Guys thanks, you made our trip very enjoyable and made my birthday weekend one that I will remember!! This was one mine and my mom's first rafting trip (probably mom's last). Mom was pretty scared on the trip and Josh made sure he took good care of her... Thanks Josh!!

Had an great time rafting! If you need a guide, get Dillon, he's pretty great along with the rest of the guides. You should come here if you ever get the chance :D

On a family vacation 6 of us got to go rafting with 5 Rivers Adventures on Aug. 31, 2013. With this being the first time for at least 4 of us we were all very excited for this experience. Our guide Josh was very good and we had a great time. The problem came after our rafting ride, when the company computer cashed before it could burn our pictures to a CD. We were so excited to get these pictures to share with all our friends and family but we had to leave empty handed due to their computer failure. I have made multiple attempts by email and phone calls trying to get someone with 5 Rivers to email us our pictures, but here we are now at Sept. 27th and nothing has been done to help us. No one returns emails, no one will return phone calls and when I do finally get to speak to someone I never get a straight answer as to when they will work on this for us. Our family drove 4 hours out of way just to raft with their company and they can't do a simple job like email us our pictures! I am very disappointed in the service and sad that we will probably never get to have these pictures of our family's adventure to remember. It's like they have pushed us aside and I really get the feeling that they don't care how important it would be to us to have these. Personally if our family ever does get to raft again I will go with a more established company who will have better customer service and can be more dependable.Joanna P

We had a great time on the river this year and can't wait to come back. Chris and his guides are the best in the business. Other rafting companies rush you down the river and you paddle hard and fast the whole time. With 5 Rivers Adventures we got to take it easy on the easy bits and still hit all the hard rapids and had a blast. The trip was great and Chris was entertaining, knowledgeable and I felt safe with him with my whole family every second, even as we went through some pretty rough water. Chris knows the area extremely well and had stories about all kinds of things around Tennessee. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a great rafting experience run by a great company with experienced guides and knowledgeable staff. 5 Stars!

Had a great experience rafting with the guys from 5 Rivers. Ewok and Ziggy were great and took the time to explain safety to the kids and adults without scaring everybody off! Haha... The river was excellent, and the guys made sure we enjoyed every inch of it. Could not have asked for a better time. Had some younger boys with us (10 years) and they were thrilled. We will be back.

Went rafting with some friends at 5 Rivers Adventures this past weekend! Had an incredible experience thanks to our expert guides! I was pleased to say we were given the best experience compared to the others out on the river. Ewok, our guide, is a genious when it comes to rafting and being out on the river. He was very friendly and personable. He made sure we all were safe and having a great time. I highly recommend 5 Rivers Adventures if your interested in rafting. 5 Rivers is 5 Stars. You will be satifised with your expereince no question about it! -Steve

Ewok and the crew made our rainy day the best yet. Luckily the water wasn't crowded and they took time to make our first trip memorable. Ziggy definitely added all the entertainment. Our friends from Chicago are still talking about the experience.

The tour guides are hilarious and very accommodating. They instantly got us excited for the trip and kept up the mood while riding to the river with endless jokes and banter. They gave clear instructions regarding our safety and I felt at ease going into the river on only my second rafting trip. The trip itself is fantastic, and they even have some excursions for rock jumping and swimming in the flat areas of the river. Absolutely recommend this company for any trip!

5 River's was very accommodating for our family. This was our second year in a row choosing them because they want your trip to be fun as well as safe. Try them and you'll see the difference from the other guide's on the river. Thank's again!
