three wisemen

The surreal landscape of Bryce Canyon is so bizarre that people give the rock formations names to make them more familiar. The Three Wisemen do not look like three wisemen just like Thor's Hammer could be anything. They're just amazing sandstone sculptures that have been etched into the canyon millions of years ago. They're all brilliant and bizarre and unique and amazing! Go out and see as many of these as you can preferably hiking through the hoodoos on foot.

I loved this vista. It's great trail. I'd say moderate. After awhile in this park you start running out of adjectives. Everything is just so amazing and memorable. Pictures do not do it justice.

In my opinion Bryce Canyon in Utah is one of the most amazing places in US and on the Earth with unreal/ un-Earthy breath taken experience. No words can describe it, you need to experience it. We hiked Queens Gardens, Navajo Loop, Picaboo Loop, Under-the-Rim Trail and the rim. Three Wisemen located behind (from the trail view) of the Thor's Hammer on the Navajo Loop trail. Don't miss this beautiful rock formation.

We think we found them based on the photos I saw the night before our hike, but we were surprised that they weren't marked with a signpost like the Wall of Windows on our Peek-a-boo loop trail. Perhaps somewhere else in the park they are pointed out.

The Three Wiseman is a lesser known rock formation that is composed of three very similar Hoodoos at Sunset Point; in fact, I could not find any reference to this rock formation in any of the NPS information. To find the Three Wiseman, go to Sunset Point, locate Thor's Hammer the look a little to the left to find the Wiseman. Besides viewing from the rim at Sunset Point, a good view of the Three Wiseman can also be seen from the upper portions of the Navajo Loop trail.

bring a camera, walking shoes , so beautiful looks like fairy castles. thors hammer is just as good ,try to get wisemen & thors in one shot. brilliant place highly recommend it
