dirty shame saloon

I went into the dirty shame for breakfast this morning, and now I am writing this review as I sit in the bathroom slouched over in pain. We were the only people when we got there so service was good to start. Our order was taken promptly and drinks were served. We noticed the repeated use of a microwave in the kitchen and could see the cook (also our waitress) handling all the food with her bare hands, and not washing between handling everything. We laughed it off until we tasted the biscuits and gravy..... We were no longer laughing. It was by far the worst, most rancid thing I have ever tasted. Practically everyone in my party had it, and they were all awful. We told the waitress and she agreed after tasting it that it was no longer good, and told us she wouldn't charge us for it. My mother-in-law said she was still hungry so the waitress offered to cook up a sausage party which actually wasn't bad, but the problem was we were charged for 4 sausage pattys even tho we were only brought 2, the bread tasted like cleaning product, and as soon as other people showed up, we no longer got any attention, no refills, no service, no nothing. In the end, we still got charged over 50.00 for a rancid meal. Next time we will go to terrace lakes.....

We ate breakfast here with our friends on our motorcycles. Good food, friendly service & decent average prices. It is a rustic type place with a gravel parking lot. Some regulars were there eating too. We had eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, coffee etc. Everything was good, portions were decent. There is also a bar on the side, but we didn't try that at 8 in the morning.

Stopped here for dinner before going to Starlight theatre across the road. hubby had chicken fried steak and I had the ham sandwich..portions were huge. not too bad and then ordered the fries...they were wonderful fresh hand cut...lovely...not a bad place to hang for a little while.
