prairie crossing vineyard and winery

June 1, 2014 we attending a music event at the vineyard. Lovely location with scenic views. Lots of shade trees to sit and enjoy the music. The music was really great- not too loud and family friendly. Had a wonderful time enjoying wine and listening to music. We went with friends and had a great time.

I live about 4 hours away from this particular winery now, but whenever I am in the area I stop and purchase a few bottles or do a wine tasting with family. Since first having the wine made a Prairie Crossing, I rarely buy anything else. Each wine has distinct notes and flavors and is is truly delicious! The have a small, but great outdoor seating area, perfect for sipping during the summer months and the bottles of wine are a nice fair price. Highly recommend this winery if you are cruising through SW Iowa!
