We stay here every summer! Wonderful area, great for boating, fishing and swimming! Beautiful sunsets!

still a nice little town with Main Street a few blocks long. Short enough to walk up one side and down the other with a great variety of shops

Great fishing - limited on walleye. Good variety of guides available - ask at sporting goods store or check on line.

Make sure you try to do a pontoon ride (rented from Chase on the Lake) and enjoy a lazy ride around some of the lake area. Oh, fishing is also fantastic.

What a beautiful lake! It is huge and has a nice beach for the public. Lots of restaurants and activities for the whole family.

Leech lake area is a great place to visit. Lots to do in the area, beaches,resorts,restaurants,fishing etc. We love the area and have been coming for the last 4 yrs.

This lake is huge! Plenty of space for anything you would want to do on a lake. Cruising, Tubing, water skiing, and of course all the fishing. Its so beautiful. It can be cold seeing as its in the northern part of MN. If getting away from the city is what you want this is a great place to go.

The lake is beautiful, although a bit cold due t the unusual chilly weather in Minnesota. Pretty sailboats and a nice public beach, and the setting is lovely.

I lived in Walker in the mid 50s and it has really grown. There are many attractive shops with gorgeous items, but expect them to be a bit pricey. This is a tourist town and has to make most of its money during the summer as winters can be somewhat brutal. As small (under 1,000 population) Midwest towns go, you won't want to miss a visit to Walker.

Just the right amount of drive time to get us away from it all and relax. We love The Village Squarer Coffee Shop in town and have stayed at The Leech Lake B&B and are in love with Trappers Landing! Beautiful, warm and peaceful area to be! Perfect!

The lake was frozen for our New Year's visit, but it is beautiful Spring through Fall. Very nice to stay at The Chase on the Lake Resort, and enjoy Leech Lake views!

This is very colorful area this time of the year and Walker is a great town for it's size. Reeds Sports is in Walker and has about everything you would need to enjoy the area.

This is a very large lake with lots of inlets. The water was colder than I thought it would be. I can see how people could spend day's exploring this great lake!

Would have liked to have had more time as it was a beautiful lake, but not many places to pull off on the highway.

It is always great to go to Leech Lake. Great fishing, great weather, and always great to hang out by the lake.
