I did the Character Challenge Course last summer. What an awesome experience that I will never forget. I had never been on a zip line before let alone that high up in the air with just some wire below me to walk on and tethers to hold me up. It is for sure an adrenaline rush. The staff was super nice and very helpful and professional and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend this to anybody. The only downfall is the mosquitos being out amongst the trees so bring your own bug spray so you don't get attacked!! OWN IT!!
Conquered some fears. Gain so mamy memories. Definitely recommend going if your seeking a little thrill :) Ill be returning again. Worth the money
Didn't think I could do this but with the help and encouragement of the great staff I made it up the tree and down the zip line ! It was awesome! Highly recommend.
My daughter's high school volleyball team comes every year. It is a powerful team bonding tool. The staff and facility are amazing. Ps. We were state champions !!!
I accompanied a group of students to C4 as a culmination to the leadership, character and teambuilding initiatives we had completed throughout the school year. My young leaders were excited to see how their hard work set them up perfectly to be ready for the challenges they faced at C4. The C4 staff were great-- personable, knowledgeable, encouraging, and did an amazing job of pushing the students to see what they truly are capable of. My students left the course with a renewed sense of optimism and pride in knowing they conquered the challenges put before them. Travis and team delivered a meaningful experience my youth never will forget. Highly recommended for all!
My kids had a fantastic time on this course..it was the first time any of them had done something like this and they were thrilled!! The staff was so helpful and really helped my son who froze during his turn across the rope walk..very professional.. They all thought the zip line was the best part..We will be back for sure!!
This place is amazing! We've gone for 3 years straight and each time has been challenging, exhilarating and fun! Our fearless son was only 5 his first time and zipped right on through. I started out just shaking and nervous, but with the encouragement and support of their awesome staff, and a little courage, I was able to complete the course. It's now pretty easy and fun. The leap of faith and swing are a blast!
wonderful uplifting experience. My husband and I and our 7 and 9 year old kids all did it!Great bonding!
The staff was so nice, helpful and supportive! An all-around great experience and I would do it again!
We recently took a large school group to the Character Challenge Course and not only were we able to participate in large group team building, but small group team building opportunities as well! We had every student participating, and nothing but smiles and encouragements voiced the entire trip! It was a great way to start the school year, and build in a sense of family with our group and staff! Thank you for everything! Emily Paine on behalf of Lumberjack High School.
When reflecting on your comments, C4 wants to not only be an effective tool for fun and extreme memories, but one where people are able to face their fears and work together to overcome many types of challenges. Many times 2 staff are able to work a group (up to 8-10) but when the group size exceeds this, it can be detrimental. Connie was the other facilitator who worked with me the night of your event. While all of our staff work tirelessly to ensure safety and enjoyment, we apologize for not making your experience a perfect one. We would like to offer you a gift certificate of $60 to cover two tickets through the Challenge Course w/zip line. Please contact me directly (at phone number below) and I will mail you the certificate. We hope to see you on the course again!Blessings,Travis GuidaOperations Director218-760-8442
We had such an incredible experience at Character Challenge course! I went with my husband who is not a fan of heights! However, we both pushed through and felt very accomplished after completing the course. We went with the tourist package and it was worth it! The only downfall was how rushed you could tell the staff were, like too many groups were scheduled one right after another. However, it sounds like next year they are offering different spacing options that will improve that.
First time visiting the Character Challenge Course and was quite impressed. The owners are a husband and wife team and we were welcomed with open arms. Our two teens went on the course and had a blast. They felt very comfortable with the staff and their experience with all the equipment. The staff ensured everyone was safe and was having a fun time. The owners and staff even went out of their way to assist a cancer stricken woman so she could experience the zipline. It was a team effort to help her climb the ladder and my two teens were able to help out - they walked away knowing they did a good deed. Hats off to the staff! Highly recommend the visit.
My friends and I were looking for some fun things to do in Minnesota and we came across the Character Challenge Course. I hadn't been on a zip line before nor had I climbed 35 feet high and tried to overcome a vertical obstacle course. I got to do all of that and much, much, more. In addition to the experience being mind blowing, it was the little things that we noticed that set this place apart from your average tourist attraction. The facilitators were personable and used humor and strong interpersonal skills to engage not only our group but the other 15 or so individuals that were there. So if you end up looking for something to do in northern Minnesota, check out the Character Challenge. The experience was thrilling (free falls and zip line), full of teamwork, and helped me to overcome some obstacles in my life and set a couple of goals.
We purchased the full challenge course tickets for 10 of our family as Christmas gifts and now I'm afraid we will have to do it again! After finding a time that all could participate (thank you Travis for your help on this one) they were all so happy they had participated and all have said they would do it again. Ages ranged from 45 to 12 years of age and it was truly a challenge for each and every one of them. They found fears they could overcome and fears they didn't know they had! The staff gals were friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable, and oh so patient. As a grandmother from the ground looking up and taking pictures I would recommend this for your family.
