mattaponi indian heritage museum

We went to the museum on Tuesday, at 4 PM, and, it was closed. The building is small and looks like uncared, but as we could see from the windows there are a lot of things inside. There was no information or working schedule at the door. There are some antiques and two small tipis in front of the museum. But the reservation is not so close to Richmond and Williamsburg, so it doesn't worth to go if you do not know it is open.Also it should be noted that Mattaponi Reservation is not an animated Indian Village like the village in the National Bridge. There are normal people with normal clothes in here.
