six Flags St.Louis is a very fun place to go while your here visiting. Just make sure to bring walking shoes, cameras, money, and energy cause your going to need lots of it. six flags is big has a lot of fun rides and games. You might also see some of your favorite cartoons characters and also is able to hug them give them an high five or even take a picture with them. But i totally recommend six flags to any one, you can be here all day! . Its also great for family trips they have rides for both young and older kids.

Always enjoyed my experiences at Six Flags StL. Last time spent most of the day riding the roller coasters...including the new (at the time) Mr. Freeze linear induction coaster (0-71.4 mph in 3.8 seconds!). Went to the water park, but we were pretty worn out by then...LOL. Would definitely go back or recommend it to anyone that enjoys amusement parks. It's an older park and full of fun!

"So-so" as amusement parks go. Sadly, it just feels tired after lasting all these years, but still a good family outing.

This six flags has the best "collection" of rides amongst all of the six flags. Nothing compares to the Iron Rattler in San Antonio, but outside of this. The rest of the rides are comparable. The food is delicious and expensive as expected. The park was clean and rides are spread out like all other parks. Expect some of the best thrill rides around. The American Thunder is the second best ride in the nation, behind the Iron Rattler of course. The lines move quickly compared to most parks. My teen boys were thoroughly entertained from the moment it opened till we shut the place down in the evening!!

I grew up going to Six Flags over MidAmerica and it was fantastic! I preferred it over Disney World at the time, because it had so many rides. DW was a bit to 'educational' for me when I was 12. Now that I'm in my early 40's w/ two kids, we visit often. It's a fun place for the kids, but it's definitely aged. There must be 50 coats of paint on some of the buildings. It feels 'grungy'. Introducing smoking areas was a great idea! No longer have to stand in line for the Screaming Eagle w/ smokers everywhere. I agree that at your first visit, if you are season ticket holders, the process is terrible!! Last year I had to go back three times and stand in line for multiple hours each time. They eventually gave me season passes due to the confusion. I've always felt safe on the rides. They are solid. And Six Flags does try to introduce new rides each year. We are looking forward to Hurricane Harbor this summer. I hope it's not a disappointment.Service in the food areas is poor. The service personnel do not speak to you. The facilities are not kept clean during service. I've often found them out of utensils, napkins, etc. Definite improvements needed here.

I have a family with kids from 4-14. This place has tons of fun stuff for the entire family to do. The roller coaster are excellent. I recommend Mr Freeze. The lines are short on most weekdays and aren't too bad on the weekends. I can't wait to go back again.

Have been here multiple times. Always a good time. Food is expensive (but that is to be expected with an amusement park). You can always pack a cooler and leave it in the car. You are free to go in and out of the park as long as have you hand stamped. Bathrooms kinda smell like sewer gas (gross!). Recommend going around Fright Fest! Lots of fun! They decorated the park well and do awesome preformances. Do be ware summer months are generally packed. Water park is always a perk!

For several years in a row, I bought season passes and so did my sister and her family (8 season passes). We would buy our passes online, to avoid waiting in line at the park gate, but once we went through the turn style, we were directed to the membership area to get our pictures taken for our hard copy season passes. Every year, we have waited in this membership line for at LEAST 3 hours. This is unacceptable, so we no longer buy season passes. April of 2014, we made the 2.5hr drive for my daughter's 10th birthday. I purchased 11 full priced daily tickets. Here's how our day went: entered the park, turned to the right to go to the Batman ride: waited 1.5 hrs in line and then the ride closed. Went the the next ride - the Joker: waited in line 20 mins - the ride closed. And this continued for our first 5 rides...wait in line and then the ride closed down. Ride 6 the swings: waited an hour and ten minutes - ride closed, we had just made it to the front and asked if we could just wait to see if the ride would start again. I explained to the young worker that we have wasted half of our day already and haven't been able to ride ONE ride yet, she said she was sorry but we would have to leave the line area. We left the line, got a drink and not 5 minutes later, the swings were going again, but there was another line, so we waited for 20 mins and did finally get to ride. I stopped a park worker who was a little older and told him of our experience and he gave me an 800 number to call, so I could inform the park of what was going on. I called the number, was on hold for 45 minutes while the girls waited in another line - only to NEVER talk to a live person. Had to leave my number for someone to call me back within 48 hours - no one EVER called. By this point, the kids were all very upset - half a day wasted and had only been on one ride. Most of them just wanted to leave, but I had spent about $550 on tickets and I didn't want it to go to waste, so we continued on. 4 of the major rides were not open for the season yet. What a wasted day!! I stopped by the customer care office on the way out. I explained to the girl about the first 5 rides breaking down and the 4 major rides that weren't even open yet. She apologized and said that is a normal ocurrance when the park first opens for the season. She said she would talk to her supervisor and see if she could do something to make up for our inconvenience. She came back with a code for 5 fast pass tickets. I paid for ELEVEN full priced tickets and she offers me 5 fast pass tickets - which means, I would again have to buy full priced tickets and this fast pass thing would allow us to not have to wait in the long line for rides. What a joke! We rode a total of 5 rides after spending an ENTIRE day at the park. I emailed the park to let them know what happened - no response of course! From now on, IF we go to 6 Flags, it will be Great America - NOT Eureka!!The park itself is in need of paint and landscaping - it's looking pretty old and run down. The food isn't good and is way over priced - which is something the park should be figuring out because several years back, the restaurants were busy - now they are almost empty - except for Panda express. Every time that I have been to this 6 Flags, there was at least 2 of the major rides closed down. I understand that things happen - rides need repaired, but how is it that EVERY time we are there, at least 2 MAJOR rides are closed - this is just wrong!!!The water park wasn't open during our April visit. We have been to the waterpark before and it is fun. It was nice to go from the waterpark right into the amusement park.Bottom line: NEVER go at the beginning of the season - they will still have a lot of issues to work out.

This is a great place to vacation for the day. Plenty to do for young kids. Good value. Nice park. Easy access.

Our Family had a Great time at Fright Fest this year! Amazing characters and very entertaining shows that shocked us all. We love the new pass card and finger printing identification system. Excellent time and money spent for Great Memories. Mandy Cordray Lincoln, IL

The rooms are a little dated. We could enter our room from the inside or outside. The restaurant is good for both Dinner and breakfast. Nice pool.

Six flags is a great theme park full of roller coasters, exhibitions, and family fun. The water park open in the summer is a blast as well!

I feel like even though I kind of knew what I was getting myself into by going to Six Flags (I can't say I enjoy large crowds, long lines, or the type of people that frequent amusement parks), I need to express my disappointment, specifically with the condition of the concessions. At one point, I decided to purchase a $4 bottle of Diet Coke from one of the vendor stations. It was flat and tasted awful. That's because it was expired by a few months. Went back to get a different one and all of the bottles in that particular station were expired. Later, after my friend stood in line for an hour for a $9 corn dog, we went to a different concession stand that had fountain soda. I ordered another Diet Coke, and it came complete with one single ice cube and tasted even worse than the bottled one. Finally, at the end of the night, I ended up going to Panda Express to get an egg roll. That place was dirtier than I can describe. Disgusting. If the food situation were decent, I may have rated this 4 stars; but when you corral people inside a park that doesn't allow outside food/drinks and then gouge prices because of it, I expect at my soda to be cold, carbonated, and within the expiration date at the very least. It's not asking for much.
