burchfield park

I love this park throughout the year! Its a great place to canoe in the summer. They also have great winter activities including tubing and cross country skiing with rentals. I love the lighted trails at night with the snow falling. Great idea for a winter time date! The fall colors along the river look fabulous as well.

Great park with lots of amenities for all seasons. There is swimming , hiking , fishing, canoe rentals as well as kayaks. The winter offered X-county skiing and sledding as well as a toboggan run. The warming hut with hot chocolate is a plus

I used to come here as a kid in the 70's and it was the place to be. It would be packed. Now that kids go more to Lake Lansing and Hawke Island, Burchfield seems to be forgotten. But if you don't like the crowds, this is the place to go. Clean, quiet, no crowds at all, pavilions, play ground and bring a picnic. Water is very clean too.
