great golf course ,rolling hills lot,s of sandtraps , good greens, very proffesional staff. probably want to ride, has to be beautiful in the fall,

Mistwood is a 27 hole golf course. All three 9s are equally challenging; the holes are varied and no two are alike. The course is built on rolling terrain and so there are many places where you hit up and down hills and across ravines. A few holes have dramatic elevation changes and there are also holes with significant forced carries. Also, on a few holes in which water hazards come into play. The course is always in good condition and the greens are usually quite fast and putting is a challenge. I would recommend this course as a place more experienced golfers will enjoy. However, there are multiple sets of tees which makes the course suitable for all levels of players. For a good time be wise in choosing the tees appropriate for your level of play.

Mistwood has three 9 hole courses. All are different, all are challenging yet fair, and all have some element that is especially scenic, or challenging, or both. The courses are very well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Food is good and the bar and outdoor patio over looking two tees and the putting green make a nice place to watch the setting sun. The host family takes great pride in their property, and they'll go out of their way to make your day(s) fun. There are rental condominiums available about a hundred yards form the clubhouse. These two bedroom, 2 bath units are large and comfortable. Both bedrooms have two queen size beds. This is a fine place to stay for a weekend or a week with another couple, the golfing guys or girls, or your family. Traverse City and its attractions are only 20 minutes away, and the Big Bear Dunes of Lake Michigan are a quick drive. We've gone there for several years for a 3 day golf outing in June, and we're looking forward to another fun time with the guys next spring..

Course is worth every penny. I'm from Chicago where the holes are stacked on top eachother and you are waiting on every hole. This course is in great condition and is nicely spread out. The holes weave in and out of the woods with a lot of water. You get the feeling that you are the only group on the course. Greens are fast and holes are cut well. Was honestly surprised at the overall condition.Would highly recommend!

Nice country course with 27 holes cut into woods and water holes. Have played several times and enjoy it each time.

Played the red course on the first nine from the black tees which allows you to see the entire layout. Fairways and greens are in great shape and holes are cut well. Played the white course on the second nine. Probably my favorite 9. Some holes require accuracy with your drives with narrow or bending fairways. Some of the friendliest people I've met in the Pro shop. Look forward to coming back!! Shot 43-38 (81)
