camp-a-while campground

I was here for the first time on 7/18/14 and enjoyed it very much.If your looking for a cozy campsite with a wilderness look,then this is the place. It's located in the side of a mountain just 2 miles off I-81. Hiking trails,pool,spacious tent sites and very friendly staff. If your looking for a more commercial type site with lots of people buzzing around at night and lots of activities then this is not the place for you.This place is quiet,"except for a few cars on highway which you may not even hear".You really get the feel of being in the mountains. In fact you are on the side of a mountain about halfway down. Looking for a super market go in into the town Valley View which is the next town after Hegins which is about 5 miles. My only complaint is riding our bikes,the place is hilly so you get a real workout. Kids conplained since they had to push thier bikes back to the tent site.
