Having lived in Exton, I am used to the heavy traffic and high costs for things like gas etc. Main Street is a nice collection of stores, but parking is not fun and there are more and more empty stores. Recently the asian buffet place closed. Specialty sports stores and those kinds do not interest me. There is a new Indian place that is good. But except for BnN, I am not driving there specifically for anything
Main Street at Exton is near where I live, so I get the chance to pass by there often. Lots of stores to choose from, but nothing to draw them together. I actually prefer Exton Square Mall because it's indoors and there's much greater variety, including an in-mall clinic. Main Street just has a disconnect for me. When I go there, it's only for one or two stores. Not walk through the whole thing and experience it.
This is as close as your going to get to a Jewish Deli in Exton. The food is very fresh and outstanding. The tuna appetizer is a MUST. Great place to watch the game although only a couple of LED TVs leave blind spots. Ambience is not the best with everything feeling at least to me a little cold and sterile. Good service and great food (really everything on the menu is good). I normally go for the Reuben or some chicken wings. Sometimes I'll add a cup of chicken soup if its cold outside. They have a nice outside patio for the spring/summer/fall months for people watching. They have take-out 6-pack's for the sports fan who is leaving at half time and wants to take some home. Great location with easy access to the highways including Rt.30 bypass, Rt. 100 to Rt202 and the turnpike 5 miles up the rope.
Great shopping area, looks like old street scene. Plenty of parking, easy access, many favporite stores
I find more of what I am looking for at Exton Square Mall, this shopping center has plenty of places to dine and shop, however, I like the variety of brand options at the mall. I will say this shopping center has ample parking and of course Barnes and Noble, which is not in the mall. So if you are an avid reader then this might be where you want to go.
Nice outdoor shopping spot in the burbs. Good little restaurants (faster version, like cosi, peace a pizza and a few sit downs and a good ice cream shop) and old standby shops (old navy, Michael's crafts, barnes and noble, bed bath and beyond, bath and body works, jewelry show, EMS, crappy walmart but what do you expect from walmart, salons, etc. ).
Pleasant outdoor and indoor space arrangement where one can stroll and explore some of the most popular anchor stores including Barnes and Nobles, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Bed Bath Beyond. Main Street in Exton offers a few places to dine as well. It is a very nice local shopping and dinning attraction.
