grange fairgrounds

The annual Centre County Grange Fair was a very enjoyable experience for me. I had heard from some folks in State College that it was tacky and strange, but I found it to be a delightful experience. I liked riding the "wagon" shuttle. Our guide on the wagon shuttle was very friendly and helped everyone find the attractions they were seeking. All the other guests were very friendly too. The food was delicious, albeit rich! I recommend it for a nice evening out with friends or family. I don't have children, but I can imagine it would be a wonderland for them. The grounds are nicely laid out and there are plenty of activities to suit anyone. Do visit the tent village and check out all the funky decor--it will not disappoint. Only downsides are paying for parking and entrance.
