black rose antiques and collectibles

The Black Rose is a large antique dealers mall. I enjoy spending time browsing in many booths. However, the last time I shopped here, many of the long time dealers had vacated and there were several empty spots. Also the roof was leaking all over the mall. I know this is something the owner of the South Mall should address, not the fault of the Black Rose, but it certainly made shopping some what unpleasant. I'm sure the dealers aren't pleased as well. Do stop in to shop, you should find some unique items that you simply must have and hopefully those empty booths have found new dealers and the mall is once again filled.

We heard about this place from my cousin who goes here frequently. We were in Allentown and had some time to kill so we decided to check this place out. WOW, this place is so cool. It is a huge space with cubicles set up by the various owners of the items for sale. Everything from antiques to old toys to vintage records and clothing. Seems like a little something for everyone. We had visited a similar place in Lancaster PA but this place is like 3 times the size. A lot of the items took me back to my childhood. A shopping and history experience all at once. If you like to browse nostalgic things this is your place.

Been here a handful of times and not sure if I've still ever got through the entire place. So many things to look at, and not all junk! Prices can range from cheap, affordable to 'omg no'. Great place to walk around and browse.

Nice selection of goods and if you know the prices of things you are looking for there are some great deals to be had here. Also you need to be able to spot reproductions if you are trying to seriously add to a collection from this place. But for funky furnishings this is the place to go.

Lots of fun things from the past. i found a nice piece of depression glass. My mom and I walked around for more than an hour and only covered half the place!

A friend and I found this gem while staying in Allentown for a long weekend, The place is hugs and filled with enough antiques to satisfy everyone's taste. Prices are hit or miss, depending on what your interests are. My motto is "It's only worth what someone is willing to pay." I tend to favor primitives and scored some really good deals while here. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Plan on spending a least a few hours and walk through a few times so you don't miss anything. Individual vendor booths so many different sales and specials throughout.
