What a gorgeous place! A real small-town ice cream parlor and candy store. The glass display cases full of really uncommon candies, the antique ice cream dishes and spoons, the tiny rickety authentic booths -- what an experience!

Old fashioned ice cream parlor....so much fun! Great menu with tons of ice cream creations, old time fountain drinks, and amazing antique ambiance. Pricey, but a fun splurge.

Many people can still recognize this type of setting from their childhood. An excellent ice cream selection that would be called limited by the norms of today. None the less the 19th century features of the building supported by the antiques throughout the store leave you walking in and out of the same soda fountain your grandparents went to when they were kids!

3 generations of us stopped there recently after the train ride to and from the Elegant Farmer. We decided to splurge and have ice cream FOR LUNCH! Fun place to walk around and browse, too bad the juke box wasn't working, old time stuff to smile about. Ice cream was good and prepared quickly with a crowd there and only one worker. He did a fabulous job keeping up with the customers.

Since we live close to Lauber's this is a frequent stop for our kids. They love going into the old fashioned ice cream shop. My daughters favorite is the Dusty Road. Have to stop if in East Troy.

You can't skip this if you're in East Troy. It is an old trolley station with stories of a haunted spot, a real jukebox, old candies, green river soda, friendly waitstaff, double cones, malts, sundaes...the sights and tastes are just fun! Little antiques are all over but it is a young nice atmosphere like a time machine (with air conditioning). I always bring visitors here and they love it! Pick a booth and an ice cream flavor and you're set for a good afternoon.

Can't beat the Chocolate Malted. The service was great. It felt like being thrown back to the 20's and 30's

This tiny little ice cream parlor is a trip back in time. Ice cream is fair but the experience is so fun. You are surrounded by antique ice cream parlor memorabilia and sit in little booths. If the old jute box is working you are in for a treat.

If you tuly want to feel like you walked back into time around the 30s/40s America this is the place. Time really does stand still while you are enjoying the many ice cream treats they have to offer. Lots of nostalgia on the walls to keep your eyes looking around this place. This is not one of those places that hang a metal Route 66, Coke, Cadillac, or Corvette sign and call it an old fashion ice cream shop... it's the REAL Deal. If you like Americana and a great ice cream treat, I can't think of no better!

Fantastic vintage atmosphere. Superb ice cream flavors and toppings. Malts, Phosphates. Excellent prices. This place works for a couple on a date or a family visit. Worth worth worth a visit! YUM.

If you visit the East Troy railroad, you have to stop here. Actually, if you are anywhere in the zip code, stop here. Sweet treats in an old fashioned parlor full of antiques. A little dark inside, but lots of cool things to see, and snacks to eat!
