My friends went to an event there last year and I just now am getting around to writing about it. This place left an impression on me. I loved all the art work through out the gardens and took lots of pictures. Everywhere you looked there was something of interest in many different ways - from the plants to the art work. We had lots to comment on as we strolled along the paths. Not a long hike or huge place but you must visit the shop while you are there. They had many interesting plants and other gardening tools that I would not have found anywhere else in the area.
Longtime Courier Journal columnist and gardening maven Bob Hill has a beautiful spot very near where the new East End bridge will eventually connect. It's a nice place to stroll and to check out plants and garden sculptures, or to take a picnic lunch. There is also a nursery and gift shop if you are looking for a souvenir for your own garden. I went in late spring but plan to visit again this summer to see it in full-season splendor.
From flying kites to fun and whimsical garden art and flowers, Hidden Hill has it all. The art is from local artists of Kentucky and Indiana. You can stroll the many garden rooms and meet Bob Hill the owner and resident " character" . Around every corner is another surprise. This place is just a short 6 mile drive from I 65 at I 265.
