The outside looks nice, inside the colors are dated. Heard many people having a hard time finding their seats. Tickets might say left or right side but inside things are labeled north or south. Needed an usher in the elevator as people didn't know what floor to hit. They're not labeled 1, 2, 3, etc instead orchestra, gallery, etc.. Sound was great. Tickets are priced on the high side. Also not many ushers around. Rather not go there again.

Went to a Randy Newman concert and loved the beautiful theater. Stunning to look at and the sound was marvelous.

But as the performer stated the Palladium is bit ridiculous. We had box seats and could barely see the stage. Loved the group hated the decor. I am a veteran concert goer. I do not know if I will be back at the Palladium or not. What is the hype about?

Have attended this theatre numerous times. Great shows. a great selection for all tastes. Prices are comparable with similar shows. Extremely comfortable seating, friendly and helpful volunteers. Dress up or dress down. Carmel symphony orchrestra plays here and they have excellent presentations with fantastic guess artists and professional musicians. You will pleasantly surprised theatre And the entertainment especially the CSO.

I've seen a handful of shows in this venue and one thing resonates: it is a calming, relaxing experience. the staff and volunteers are nice and non intrusive. Not a bad seat in the house! Two thumbs up.

This is a fantastic concert and arts facility. The main auditorium, the Palladium, has perfect acoustics and often is compared to a church sanctuary. The other two theatres in the complex are home to community theatre companies and dance companies. Free covered parking in the attached garage and friendly ushers box office personnel. A tremendous asset to the Indianapolis Arts scene.

My Dad & I came here to see Jackie Evancho in concert and were blown away by the beautiful architecture of the Palladium. We're from another state and had no expectations or previous experience but would certainly love to come back. Everything was pristine, elegant and well laid out. We had great seats just a few rows back from the stage which put us maybe 20 feet from Jackie. She was amazing as always and had everyone in the audience memorized. Another surprise was the staff - tons of folks available to guide you and it was obvious they were proud of the Palladium and wanted you to enjoy yourself. There was a gift shop (in addition to the table selling Jackie souvenirs), art for sale and a lovely little shop selling beer & wine. We took advantage of the valet parking as well. There was quite the line after the show but it was a nice night out so we didn't mind waiting. Had it been cold I would have likely not been willing to wait and gotten the car myself. All in all a wonderful surprise and a gorgeous facility!

Beautiful venue with a wide mix of performing arts - from local community plays to world class performers. Acoustically beautiful.

Went to a concert here a while back...just getting around to the review. Convenient free parking. Easy access. Helpful volunteer staff. Some very nearby places to gather before or after a show. Nice little place for snacks and drinks while in the performance. Acoustics were very good, as they had advertised. From beginning to end, it made for a wonderful night out for us. And yes, the review is for the facility, not the concert, although we did enjoy the show too.

We went to The Tarkington at the Center for the Performing Arts to see Gregory Hancock's Dance 'Superhero' Saturday night and it was absolutely wonderful. If we had gone on Friday night we would have gone back on Saturday night again. The story of a man called Jesus depicted the Easter story all enacted dancing. The dancers and costumes were exquisite. This professional dance group puts on approx. 5 shows a year including The Nutcracker at Christmas. We will definitely attend again.

My husband and I on Feb.16,2014 just attended the Palladium in Carmel, Indiana to see my most favorite entertainer- Michael Feinstein!!! What the extra very special treat was being able to hear a performance in what I believe to be one of the most gorgeous facilities around! The Grecian influenced architecture is amazing and all of the extra special details are just wonderful. Acoustics were wonderful and since it is not an exceptionally huge facility wherever you'd sit, you'd have a wonderful view of the stage! Can't wait to go back and see Michael Feinstein and the Palladium!!!!

We had ordered our tickets early and had seats in the second row, center for the Madeleine Peyroux concert. I thought this would be ideal for Madeleine’s intimate style. Unfortunately, despite the “excellent acoustics” I’d read about, it was hard to follow her vocals and she sounded a bit like she was singing in a cave. I don’t know whether this was technically a bad mix or due in part to the “bad cold” she confessed to. But I wonder if seats farther back, maybe a third of the way, would have made for more enjoyable listening. The rest of her 7-piece band, especially the strings, sounded fine. The facility, even on a snow-covered evening, is impressive. There’s free parking (a pleasant surprise) a short walk across “the green” where rows of trees were decorated with small white lights. It seemed like a nice place to linger before or after the show on a nice spring evening. All the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The Palladium has a traditional, European feel, not modern or trendy. With a balcony and some box seats behind the stage, there doesn’t seem to be “a bad seat in the house” of the 1,600-seat facility.

Beautifully done! The acoustics are outstanding, and design is striking. A wonderful addition to Carmel Arts.

Went to the Civic to see Joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat! Great production! I really enjoyed it and the theater is perfect.

This venue was built largely with Tax payer funding that was billed as a project requiring little taxpayer funds and major private donations, cost 3 times initial published costs and brings in many performers that appear at regional casinos.
