We visited Native Vines the last weekend of February. We really liked these wines and even bought a case to take home. There are Reds, Whites, and Sweets. Must try the Green Tea Wine and the raspberry Tea Wine. Theses are very different than anything we have tried before. $10 for a tasting and keep the glass. They will pretty much let you try all of their wines. Too bad they were out of 2-3 I would have purchased. There are tables & chairs set up as well for before or after your tasting. Very kind folks. Probably could improve the décor a bit as it seems like an unfinished converted garage or barn. Also, should make sure all wines are available - would make more sales that way. Lastly, the use of a hand calculator and sales pad did slow things down a lot.

Not very impressed and not sure what the other reviews saw and tasted. The wines were very sweet or very immature. They could have done so much more with the tasting room since they promoted Native American connections. We were overcharged $4 for 1 bottle and then the receipt was added up wrong for another $4 charge. We will not be recommending it to our friends.

I enjoy sweet wines and this place has them. I really enjoyed the two wine tastings that I have been to this year. It was a little off the road, quiet and wasn't too busy. Try the Green Tea Wine.... it's different and good.

I visited Native Vines one Sunday with a friend, who like me, enjoys sweeter wines and we had not been to the winery, although we had both tasted their wines at local events. We had a verynice tasting and visit with Darlene and ended up with a couple bottles. I particularly like their blackberry wine. It's just sweet enough, but not overly so. We also tried their homemade Sangria and it was quite good. This is not the prettiest winery you will ever visit, but the goodwines & hospitality make up for it.

I wanted to really like this place and the wine but it turned out to be just ok. The seven wines that I tasted had a soapy taste to me (like I didn't rinse all the soap off my glass). I am not picky with wines either.I read where the owner was a female Native American so I wanted to support the place. There were no wines that I wanted to buy. Their tasting place was very basic with tables set up where you could sit down and taste the wine. That was different and nice. Very nice gentleman pouring the wines for us then I presume who was the owner walked in and said to the people I have a routine. Then she said to us when they left, I kept bringing over wines to them and they wanted something else and messing up my routine. I didn't think that was very customer friendly to say that to us especially when one of the men was in the bathroom and she didn't know it. He walked out to hear her and the other gentleman say "they were a little difficult". Maybe everyone was just having a bad and off day.

Nothing compares to Native Vines wines. It has got to be the smoothest wine I have ever had, like sipping a glass of fine silk. You will feel at home here, the staff and owner's will welcome you in like family. Take a picnic, enjoy sitting outside with a bottle of wine, take in the fresh air and the serenity that blankets this place.

It could be my long gone grandmother's home, or a place where I want to live for the rest of my life. It is a place to disconnect from electronic slavery; a place to chat with friends in a non-competitive, easy breathing way with quiet all around. There are chickens, foxes, horses, a cinder block building with outdoor tables and a gentle country path. The wine, oh yes, the wine, it is exceptional. And the Sangria - The Best I've Ever Had. A cruel wish for Native Vine Winery - I hope you don't grow. It is perfect today.

This is what a winery should be like! My husband and I stumbled upon this tucked away little winery. No frills, no cut crystal glassware and no $15 tastings!!! The focus of this winery is the wine ... as it should be. Like other reviewers have shared it was VERY difficult to decide what wines we wanted to take home. We are typically not sweet wine drinkers however we loved almost all of the sweet options. The Pinot is OUT OF THIS WORLD and you have to take home a bottle of the green tea wine. We had a wonderful experience at this winery and cant wait to come back and visit with friends!!!

Wines are wonderful - had trouble selecting - will have to ship more to my home. Very welcoming atmosphere. Darlene and Nick are wonderful - hated to leave.

I visited Native Vines Winery in October 2011. The service was great, and the wine was amazing! I purchased several bottles of wine here. I definitely need to go back to this winery to get more wine. They also had horses walking around near the side of the building. In the summer, they have several live bands play.If you're visiting NC or just looking for something new to do in NC, this place is where you want to go for good wine!!

Outlanders

Small cottage winery nestled in Davidson County - only Native American Winery in existence! Atmosphere could be ramped up a bit but the hosts and the wine are out of this world. Bottle labels are gorgeous, prices are reasonable.some summer nights bands/DJs are offered which is a great time. We love this place!!
