This place was bought by new owners about A year ago. They put so much effort and passion into making your experience a memorable one. The lodge was remodeled and very nice. The food was excellent and I do mean excellent. Every meal was home cooked with fresh ingredients. They even made special requests for me and our son. DONUTS BREADS COOKIES were all made from scratch by the owner in the wee hours of the morning. The lodge was always open and filled with snacks. My husband and son were hunting; I was just along for the ride and scenery. They had a great time with Billy their guide and the hunt was a success. We all enjoyed the experience and the hospitality of Cedar Ridge. I would definitely recommend and would go back again.

excellent area for pheasant hunting. would recommend another outfitter though. cedar ridge outfitters is below average. the "lodge" is a small metal building that has been finished out. very spartan but functional. the owners are very thrifty, so expect cheap food and no entertainment. basic channels are available on the dish network, but once again nothing extra. bring your own snacks because the kitchen will be locked after supper. our guide was entertaining, but the dogs provided were miserable and would dash ahead and flush birds 150 yards away.
