The place is big and perfect for a happy hour with friends. Food was good, not exceptional (I had a quesadilla) but the beer is worth it. I didn’t take the tour; probably I will go back there in the future.

An hour or so touring the Red Hook Brewery is time well spent! The facility itself is interesting enough, but the tour guide was an absolute hoot! He knew his stuff, that's for sure, but his delivery was worthy of a comedy club. Couple that with generous pours of several great brews, served to some rockin' music, and a souvenir mug and what else can you ask for?

Tours meet regularly just inside the entrance, you don't need reservations. You walk down hallways that permit you to see production areas. This is then concluded with a beer tasting in the tasting room. You get to keep your small tasting glass. A brief history gives you the background of the brewery. Pro tip - there is a "special" tour that only organized events get. As part of a professional organization tour I have toured the production and kegging areas as well which most people don't get to see.

I absolutely love the tour of this brewery! The guide was really funny and entertaining. I felt like you got a lot of beer for the $5 entry for the tour. It was great to hear all about the process that Red Hook goes through to brew their beer and ship it out! The restaurant isn't the best food but their nachos are awesome. They have typical bar food but I definitely wouldn't complain about the quality!!! I have gone here twice and loved it both times!

I've eaten at the restaurant and also took the tour and the tour is way better than the restaurant. Food is mediocre and unimaginative, service is lackluster and unprofessional (our server mentioned feeling bloated twice) and when we were there, the atmosphere was a little cool (as in frigid). I won't be back when there are many other better options in the area. But the tour was fun. Guide was warm and friendly and gave out great info.

Good beer, recent remodel makes the restaurant more updated. Food and service are still lacking a bit, and always too crowded. Great tour, and if you're a Red Hook fan, worth the stop. Otherwise, your time can be better spent elsewhere.

I have been to Red Hook 3 times since my original review. The food quality and service have greatly decreased. The overworked servers and poor food quality make it not worth the inevitable long wait at the door. I really don't know why people are still lining up for a sub-par experience when there are many better options.

This tour was fantastic. The guides are lively and energetic. A nice break from the wine talk. Just a fun informative tour that explains the art of craft beer and you get to sample a lot of beer and let's just say a beer pour is much larger than a wine pour!

During our bike ride in the rain, the bar was a welcome site. We decided to have a beer and sit out the rain and we had such a great time we decided to stay for lunch. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. They put an English soccer game on the big screen to keep the lads happy so was stayed for one more beer. Thanks for the fun........

This is a great place tucked back in the trees in Woodinville. The staff is attentive and friendly and the food is great. Beer selection is amazing and their bartenders make some stellar cocktails if you are not in the mood for a micro. Great place to hang out for awhile especially when the patio is open and enjoy a beer in the sunshine.

Popped in for a beer with some friends from out of town. The food was good as was the beer, nothing special. Unfortunately, it was just like a typical restaurant, not like a Red Hook Brewery. The service is where they suffer. They have spent alot of time coming up with catchy slogans for the young folks they have working, but the should probably come up with a process for better service. I wont go on about it all, but here is one: The food came and we had no silverware. We waited about 4-5 minutes when our server walked up and sat down, right next to me to take the order of the table next to us. I interrupted and asked about silverware to which he said no problem, he would get, but went back to taking their order. I (honestly) sat there with no silverware and our food just sitting while he joked and chatted away. I pushed past him and actually went and got my own. He didnt seem to mind too much. Its unfortunate, that they hire folks to be funny but miss out on what drives most people back; service. I can get a beer anywhere, and in most cases (I live in Seattle) a Red Hook Ale. But I will say, even though i have read some great experiences about the place, I wont go back; no need.

We hit Red Hook every time we are in town and love it...food and beer are both good. This day, the place was crowded although we got a table for 6 immediately. Ordered immediately but then our food took like 45 mins to come out. Another table next to us, seated after us got their meal, paid and left before our food even arrived! During lunch the fire alarm went off. My medium rare flatiron steak came out cooked well done. When mentioned, they took it off the check as well as making a reduction for the lateness of the food delivery. Manager came out to apologize so we felt well taken care of in spite of things that went wrong.

Negative. Terrible. Hazy ale not good. No aroma yet slinky foul taste. Perhaps the bar or transport failed it with time or temperature.

I went to the Red Hook Brewery for just the tour which was only $1 and that gets you samples of various beers and also a free mini glass to take home with you after sampling. There was a lot of humor and overall it was a fun experience. I'd have to say though, they have some delicious beers, and that's where I found out that I like IPA's.

Thirsty for good home brew beer? Well Red Hook brewery has been THE BEST BEER I have tasted in the US. Forget about the big company ones like Budweiser, Coors, Miller, etc. Small local breweries are the great beers and Red Hook is one of the top. Now imagine how I felt when I discovered that they have their own "Brew tour" and restaurant right in the factory? It was like heaven on earth. We drank and ate deliciously at a very good price and service. Are you hungry, thirsty and love good, great beer? Come to Red Hook. You'll love it!
