I wouldn't say that this is an attraction. It's a brewery with a nice tap room. There is outside seating as well, not covered but with heat lamps for those chilly evenings, and best of all, you can bring your kids and dogs while enjoying fresh beer. I saw families playing lawn games with their kids contributing to the family-friendly atmosphere. We loved the beer, particularly the Field 41 Pale Ale which is lighter and hoppier than most Pale Ales but packs great flavor. Beer is better with food and during our stay there was a large food truck with very good wood-smoked BBQ parked outside. There were plenty of food choices, including sides, with good value pricing. We really enjoyed food, drink and atmosphere here and will no doubt be back during our next visit to Yakima.

In town to attend my wife's 30-year class reunion and Saturdays noon meeting place was here. GREAT BEER (and I am a beer snob). It is a family run place with an Italian made brew house and cella ring tanks. The is no kitchen here so food may be hit or miss. The day we were there a BBQ vendor had a trailer set up out back so we had some decent food with which to soak up the beer. They make a good product, too bad they have not taken their tasting room to the next level with full time food service. It would make this place a destination and it is a bit off the beaten track.

We were on a weekend visit to the area wineries and decided to make this a stop on our way in from Seattle as we had read good reviews. It was great timing as the hops had just been harvested and they were featuring a couple fresh hopped beers that were dynamite!! We enjoyed a couple pints outside on the patio and took a six-pack of Top Cutter to go to enjoy on our visit. If you enjoy some extra hoppy beer this is the place to try!!

Bale Breaker Brewing Company is a great, relatively new brewery in Yakima, WA. It is located in the midst of a hop farm. field 41. This is an up and coming brewery that is expanding rapidly in the region. A true craft beer. Please stop in and give them a try. The make IPAs and are hoppy. Great beer at a great place.
