In Bakerfsield for the Thanksgiving weekend, I took my two SILs,and two grandsons (7 & 10) and two granddaughters (3 & 6) to Camelot Park to get them out of the house for a few hours. I looked online for coupons but noticed a review that the regularly priced wristband at the park is a better deal than the Groupon coupon. The Groupon coupon was $15 for the go karts (two tracks), yet the park wristband was $15.99 for all of the attractions. So we went for the $15.99 deal.The go karts seem to be the major attraction, but they have a batting cage, miniature golf, a bumper boat ride (wet!) and a carnival type ride with planes. The kids really enjoyed all attractions.There are lots of video games inside but we didn't try them, although the three year old, who is game to try anything, sure tried!I would recommend this for any family for a day's inexpensive entertainment.

We have taken our grandkids to this park when we visit CA. They absolutely LOVE IT here! So did their parents -- especially the water bumper cars. We also played a lot of the games inside, but more fun was outside. We rode the Go-Karts I don't know how many times --- all of us except the littlest one who did not meet the requirements at the time. Great competition among riders. Great course for riding the Karts. It is relatively small, but they let you go around many times, so I still felt we got our money's worth. Note: Bakersfield can get really hot in summer, so be prepared for that. The indoor facility is air-conditioned, so there is a way to escape the heat.

After two recent visits with my grandchildren to Camelot Park, I can see that some renovation has started to take place. Some of the artificial turf has been replaced and some painting done along with the replacement of a few pathway lights. This is a good beginning, but much more needs to be done.The children loved both the golfing experience and the go karts. It seems that the attendants allow longer rides in the go-karts when the place is less busy and shorter rides to keep the waiting line manageable during peak periods. The kids also loved all the token funded games and redeeming their tokens at the end of the visit. A great way to spend a couple of hours passing the time.

Bored in Bakersfield went here the outdoor water ride was the best I also enjoyed to race cars however the course is small everything inside was average. I would defently upgrade this place to have a more game works like atmosphere there was less than 100 total on a June afternoon :(

Bakersfield is a city surrounded by many other smaller cities and I am assuming the combined population of all these places is nearing 500,000. There is NOTHING fun to do here, you'd think Camelot would be a lot cleaner and have more attractions that actually worked properly. When this place opened it was fun and clean and something interesting to do. We took my son there a few months back and I was disappointed. Half the games did not work, many of our tokens were taken without the game actually working, there were no staff on the floor to assure games were working and to give replacement tokens when the games ate them. There were many unruly, unattended children within the park, two of which rammed their go kart into the back of a man who was at a dead stop. They hit him so hard that it visibly forced him forward, flung his sunglasses off his face, and when he exited the go kart he was rubbing his neck. Half the go karts sit idle because they do not work. Their used to be a really fun laser tag arena there, but they took it out for unknown reasons. The bumper boats were really the only thing that seemed to be working correctly, but the structure under which you stand to wait in line for them is in need of repair and fresh paint. They had two carnival rides there that were out of commission just sitting in the area meant for outdoor birthday parties and it looked dangerous considering this is a place for families. The inside of the arcade also smells like sweat and body odor and it is extremely expensive to enjoy the rides there. A little updating and a lot of maintenance is long over due. We most likely won't be bringing our kids back until they make some serious changes.

We went here for a birthday party. It had lots to do and even had bumper cars for all ages! That was a big hit. They did that for hours! The hostess got a pizza and pitchers of soda. The pizza was actually quite decent. I heard from others that this place didn't use to be a nice place to go, but having just moved here, I would say it was clean and the staff were friendly.

If you want to get out and do something different - go to Camelot Park for the day. Activities to take in with your family are mini golfing course, go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages and arcade games. It's a fun day for the family!

I thought there would be more for older children to do but there was no one in the place when we went. We may have just come at a bad time since it was around the Christmas holiday but I thought it was overpriced as well. Wont be back.

I got a half-price Groupon, thank goodness, as the golf side is somewhat run down. The greens are quite worn and much paint is needed. Vandals have broken several of the light fixtures, some very recently as evidenced by broke light bulbs on the ground. The go-kart side was great No problems here. The young man running the show even allowed us to take extra laps with our granddaughters. They also enjoyed a wide variety of video games.

The place is an awesome adventure in itself! The mini golf courses (2) are fun to play in. There are two sets of racing, one for big kids and a little one race way for children (its a good price too). Tons of games to play and win tickets from.

We take the grandchildren every summer when they come to visit. They truly enjoy the boats, the golf, and the car rides and games. A nice fun filled day for kids.

We played miniature golf. My granddaughter got to experience go-carts for the first time and she was really good at it. The staff was so nice. Explain everything. As we rest inside out of the heat after golfing, my granddaughter played with the video games insides. So much to do! The fast good menu was great!

If you like to keep your kids from heat, rain or cold weather,this is the way. Fun, food, and mingle with the croud. Plenty of things to do for all ages - fun - fun

Bought an unlimited ride bracelet for the kids and they rode go carts a couple of times and the bumper boats were refreshing since they include shooting water at the other boaters, it was 108 ° $30 in tokens for $25 saves 5 bucks, you blow your $ on games but the kids had fun.Scandia aka Camelot :)
