The grounds here are so pretty - I can see why they book so many weddings. They have really nice wines, and a terrific onsite restaurant, Shorty's Bistro. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful.

I bought a groupon for $20 that included 12 wine tastings for 2 people and hummus with pita. Great value!Hummus was home made and I would recommend to taste their dessert wines.

We had not been to Mount Palomar Winery in years. It has changed a lot and is very beautiful. The grounds and views are fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed their wines and had a very friendly server. We won't stay away so long this time!

This is one of the most beautiful winery's in temecula my girl friends and I spent two wonderful days tasting and enjoying the views. I personally do not like sherry BUT this is now not true I LOVE this SHERRY I brought home several bottles and iam not going to share... If you find your self in temecula you should may the effort to go to this winery

This was our third stop for wine. We decided to grab a bite. Our tomato soup and turkey sandwich was great along side of our red wine flight.

15 of us on a limo wine tour made this our last stop and it was perfect. The wine tasting price was better than the pervious 3 wineries we stopped at which was a plus. The service to get your wine tasting was a little slow.I would suggest getting a double taste and take some time to walk around the grounds as there are awesome views of the Temecula Valley and just the grounds themself have beautiful statues and decorations all over the place. Plenty of tables and chairs if you decide to sit and enjoy the sunshine and wine.

Mount Palomar is one of the older wineries in the Temecula appellation. They produce a number of very good quality wines. The most important in my view is their Cream Sherry, produced in the traditional Solera method and aged outside in oak barrels. This method produces a wine of great depth and complexity. It is a desert wine; not for everyone. They have a lot of nice outdoor space and a limited food menu.

My husband and I went to see a concert here on a Sat night. It was our first time at Mt Palomar Winery. We arrived about 6:30 and there were already a few people there. The concert was outside on a grassy area with ample seating and beautiful fountains. We decided to sit under the covered patio area next to the bar and small man made stream with beautiful sculptures of children near the stream. The band played covers from the band, "The Cars", there was food for purchase, my husband ordered a large pretzel but it was very stale tasting. The wine was good, we purchased a bottle to share during the concert. It is one of the older wineries in Temecula and it has a nice area outside for concerts and other events. I would definitely recommend it to others. We will be returning again!

I had not been to Mt.P in about 2 years. Last time I was there I loved it. We spent the entire afternoon and left with a case of wine. I couldn't wait to go back and pick up some of their Sherry and Solanus. We went on Saturday. I was so disappointed. Their old tasting room is gone replaced by a rectangle building with a patio outside. No personality. The random statues seem out of place. The wine tasting is now up to $16. Their Noir, Sherry and Port count as two pours. The quality of the wine has dropped dramatically. Not sure if it's a new owner or wine maker or what. So very disappointed

This was our first time attending the wine club dinner in September. They have a Lovely property and there must have been 900+ people. They had a buffet for dinner including tri-tip, chicken, lasagne, salads,etc. and multiple appetizers. They are pouring all of the wines in the September shipment and it's all unlimited - wow we love this winery! This is a complimentary dinner by invite only. There was a band and dancing too, we are looking forward to next years party.The only improvement Is they ran out of the tri-tip so if they had servers for the main dishes might not have ran out.

We tried three vineyards this day, our first experience with vineyards and tastings. And this was good simply blah, nothing special not nothing new compared to our first two. Good and the views are pretty but so so nonetheless. Nothing stands out and the wine here did not meet nor exceed the other wineries. All in all, number three on the day with SC being phenomenal and recommendation. Choices!

Loved the outdoor wine tasting (tasting room currently under renovations). This was the first winery we went to on this trip that had seating. After standing all day this was really nice. My husband and I couldn't understand why there weren't a lot of people. We were the only ones almost until the end of our tasting. The long walk from the parking lot might have something to do with it. Or maybe it was because they are renovating? Either way this place has delicious wine. Met some locals who belonged to the wine club. I really enjoyed the Riesling. So much in fact I bought a bottle to take home. Loved the grounds, servers were friendly. If you visit Monday-Thursday wine tasting is only $12.

The grounds are fantastic, great place if you have an event especially a wedding. Perfect settings. Stopped in for a tasting. Taylor was nice explained the wines. Got a great deal 6 bottles for 60 bucks. They are average wines, but that was a bang for the bucks. Fee for tasting. The construction going on is for the restaurant that had a fire, should be nice when it is complete. They are still accommodating with an outdoor tasting bar area and have food set ups.

Mount Palomar Winery is a beautiful location. Large grounds and several areas to relax in the shade. While the wine is only average, the venue more than makes up it.Today they had live music which was very good. We spent a relaxing couple of hours at the site.

We have been wine club members for 10 years now and have never been disappointed. The staff (Chris and Roxy) and owner Louis have always gone out of their to make sure we were taken care of. The Sangiovese is my personal fav and their sparkling wine is wonderful.You get so many perks as a club member so look into the club when your there.
