下了飞机，租车以后，就开到这里来海边吃饭。不巧正是下雨，所以能见度一般，但还是可以看到海很漂亮。许多好莱坞的剧都在这里拍摄，是一个经常走路就能遇到明星的地方。

打道回府的时候四点多，还有一半的店没逛到。晚上想去Santa Monica Beach所以还是赶紧上路了。到海滩的时候天已经完全黑了，晚上的海滩一点也不热闹，虽然还是有游人，但街边卖艺的人基本没了，又很冷，到海边逗留了一下就走了。所以冬天去的话一定要白天=。=

开车停车都很方便。在海边散步就算什么都不错，吹吹海风享受一下加州的阳光，远眺海鸥飞翔，路边不时还有街头艺人表演。是很优闲的海滩。靠近摩天轮的地方，有家冰淇淋店，有卖小球状冰淇淋，很好吃也特别，是值得尝尝的甜点。

圣莫尼卡的海滩绵延数英里。沿着海滩中部有一条小径,另外还有人行横道,你可以沿着它们走一走,或者如果你不喜欢走远路,也可以雇辆自行车。如果你想要喝一杯的话,路边也有很多小餐馆和酒吧。那里还有健身区,不过很多人,我们在的时候是这样。每一天每一天你都可以发现不同的东西。很不错。

我们直接走到海滩毫不犹豫地享受这的美景阳光。从九月到十月开始的周末,这就不会有太多的人群,甚至连肌肉海滩都变得安静宁谧。我非常喜欢这漂亮的海滩和干净的空气!

这个海滩很干净,有人管理的很到位,空间很大,即使人很多也没事!带本好书,抹上防晒霜,就可以待上一整天啦!大爱!

瞧,从墨西哥的海滩到西班牙 La Cost del Sur的海滩我都去过了......但是我从来没有,真的从来没有看到过如此辽阔而美丽的海滩,这就是圣塔莫妮卡的海滩。难以置信,因为四周都环绕着高山、公路、停车场和一个码头。谁让它变成了这个样子?我想,我喜欢这里。

在8月中去的，夜晚景致特别美。是天使之城的取景地。加州的夏夜特别凉爽，闲逛在夜晚的海岸上感觉特别舒服，一旁还有个摩天轮。

This is a 'must visit’ area when you are nearby. The view over the ocean and the long wide beach is the perfect place to take a break. In the evening it turns into this beautiful quiet scene with the sunset.

We traveled there in March and it was a bit cold but yet, the sky was always blue, the sun out and the beach gorgeous. We did not go into the water but walking by the beach every morning was pain-less exercise!

This beach is a great spot that we came to several times to relax and take in the sunsets. If I lived in LA I would come to this beach all the time because it feels like its not a part of LA. There are washrooms near by and you can get food and entertainment every where off the beach.

The beach is wide and all of the vendors are gone. The view isn't great (no mountains) but overall a nice beach.

Great view of the ocean. I just went today to hang out with friends. We played football and volleyball at the beach. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and Third Street Promenade within walking distance.It's great to chill by the beach at night, too. People often sing here, so there is always plenty of attractions to see.

love the pier and the view of LA is just WOW, love the boadwalk and the restaurant around, you got to have a hoddog on a stick and a fresh lemonade

Visited Santa Monica Beach on a Monday in the early afternoon and it was busy. Being from the middle of the country, going to the beach is a rare treat. The family loved splashing in the ocean! I thought the beach had a great atmosphere with the pier right there that had a variety of restaurants plus the rides. Parking was plentiful, however it did cost $12, and is right between the road and the beach.
