Plenty of Breweries and Brew Pubs I prefer - the bar was way to small, staff was nice enough - the limited brew selection was average - Nice location - Nothing on the menu I felt like eating at the time, but what I saw looked pretty good

This is definitely the place to be in Berkeley for a beer and pub food. We got there around 6:30 and took the last table. There is a college town atmosphere with two large screen TVs showing sports and lots of beer ephemera on the walls. The microbrew beer was quite tasty and the food was far above average for the price. All in all it was a great place to spend our time and money on a Friday night.

Perfect location in Berkeley, casual atmosphere, good food and brew. Have been here several times, look forward to return visits!

This is a great brew pub, and is one of the original ones started in the 1980's that is still owned by its original owners. You can see the brewing operation thru glass windows. They have a respectable menu that includes typical bar food like burgers, and chicken wings. The beer is solid and you can watch sports TV or rock out to the tunes. I like meeting friends here for lunch.

Casual, friendly and a good place to meet friends. The beer is decent and there's enough sports on the tvs.

Be prepared to be dazzled by the size of this brewery. Friday nights this place is packed - no wonder. Enjoy the vast expanse,opens spaces, huge windows, the lively community and the simply amazing beer menu. We tested and tasted several A-1 beers. Great place. Go early.

Yes, it's a brew pub, but I've been to better. The beer is not as cold as it could be and the brews were mediocre. However, the wings were awesome!

this place is good for pub food. i do prefer jupiter down the street though for the wood fire pizza
