We were attending a conference in San Diego and hadn't rented a car. So unlike many factory outlets in North America, this one was convenient in that the Trolley (blue line) has a terminus at San Ysidro. Cross the overhead bridge the leads over the freeway, catch a glimpse of the busiest road border checkpoint in the world, walk several hundred yards along Camino de la Plaza and you're there. It's a good place to spend a day shopping. Being responsible conference delegates, we only spent...half a day. Lots of shops with many well-known brands represented, relatively friendly prices (partly depending on which part of the world you're from), and reasonable food options when hunger pangs are felt.

Lady at the register did not put all my merchandise in my bag. So now I have to go all the way back from Mission Valley to pick up my stuff that she did not put in my bag. How difficult is it to do that job?? Putting merchandise in a bag!! I know it must be challenging!! It was a horrible experience shopping there. Another lady behind me was standing next to me (i mean literally touching my arm) as I was paying, as if I was paying for her stuff too. I will never go to that store again!!

Compare to other socalled outlets, this was a good outlet with good stores and nice prices. Unbelieveable, but it is no problem to spend the whole day at the outlet!

Found the Chicos store had lots of good bargains so was happy there. Also Coach had good prices. Other stores i shop in had good selection and price. But was disappointed in the shoe stores - small selection and overpriced. It's worth the effort to spend a few hours there if you are into bargain shopping at your fav stores!

Went there the second time within 2 years, real great discounts. Just watch out on the highway that you don't miss the exit, otherwise you would end in the mexican border traffic and you can't turn anymore. On the other side of the street is Ross - Dress for less, cheap brand clothes as well as real cheap suitcases, both one each time I went there. Real nice place to shop.

Nice modern stores with lots of parking. Many Mexican and Asian tourists. Most store workers only speak Spanish?!

All a man and woman could ever want and more, bathroom s are a little scary not kept up but other than that great experience Ralph Lauren, Adidas, Starbucks

To be honest I was expecting more quality since the variety is surely there. I guess for women you can find lots of bargains but for men the overall quality is low. Levi's has great prices as well as Puma and other famous brands but Hugo Boss and Tommy for example were below par. I was in San Diego and went there on purpose. The building layout is nice and has good food places. I might have put the bar to high before going, however I've seen better outlets in small south european countries for example.

For my daughters soccer team we are always in San Diego for tournaments. We always make plans to go to the outlets in San Ysidro. We always find deals and leave with lots of bags. The prices can't be beat. For us, our favorites are the Under Armor and No Fear stores. Lots of walking and shopping and shoppers from everywhere. This is a really nice place. It's clean, plenty of restrooms and lots to eat too. We have shopped a lot of outlets but none compare to this place. The best deals are here.

This is a huge outlet mall very close to the Mexican border. We got some good deals here. In addition to visiting the mall, you can also visit the Mexican town in San Diego. This town is about 5 mins from here and on the west of the mall

While staying in San Diego we make a plan to go to Las America shopping outlet mallIt was a great experience that you are on the border of USA / Mexico ,It's a good feeling to see Mexico from USA side without crossing the border, as well as it's a good shopping mall,Nice feeling, must go when in San Diego.

This a slightly above-average outlet mall, worth a trip from Tijuana but not from L.A. or North (San Diego) County. It's nice, clean, safe. The clerks are typical Mexican retail workers - bilingual, courteous, reasonably efficient, but a little glum. The prices are nothing to write home (U.S.) about. I go there for the food! There are some nice restaurants on the periphery (not the food court).

The only reason we came here was my son wanted to go close to the Mexican border . He was excited just seeing so many Mexican license plates in the parking lot ! This is simply a typical outlet mall . It has been very clean on every visit . The shave ice kiosk was perfect on a hot day . For us living so far away from Mexico there is a little thrill knowing we are just a stone's throw away .

This place has some great merchandise. I especially like the Guess and Tommy Bahama stores. It is very close to the border so at times it can be very crowded. Some of the retailers set the prices a bit higher to capture the foot traffic from Mexico. Still a good shopping experience. Restrooms are a little far and few between. The food court is also not quite the best. But overall, a great experience for someone like me who is not too big on shopping.

We took a look around and had already been to most of them. I did get a great couple of bargains in Ross's and Marshalls though. It was interesting to see the Border with Mexico and the Trolley was a great experience.
