my favorite things

The kids loved the theatre in Blue Jay,Ca. They loved the fact that the seats you could lean back in and that it was upstairs. Of course the movie was great as well.

i have given my reviews before! .. and i did mention that no matter where we go in california, from santa barbra to L.A. in every county in every spot .. there's a different feel and a different flavour to this amazing part of the world .. besides the weather that's constantly fabulous there are places to be visited many and many places to see .. we need years to be able to see it all and to feel it all .. but today i want to talk about this amazing experience .. in it we mount by car the road that takes to heaven at the end of it's beak a one hour climb to get to the first village at crestline where you can spend a night in a small hotel and every one is your friend and tour guidance .. before i mention the rest of the trip up there .. where there's another lake (bear lake) the trip on it's own is a marvel .. it has magic on it's own .. it's not easy to keep our mouth unopened with the wows of the magical beauty of it's views from mountain to city down in the bottom of the mountain ...continuing the trip is another fabulous experience .. some people live on crestline they have chalets and they own cabins .. further up arriving at the bear lake it's another village shopping lake restaurants hotels .. amazing to see amazing to feel and amazing to be there ... in the lake you'll see ducks of all colors .. black white and other birds that love people and love the gathers .. the feel of being on top of a mountain never dissepates although we're in the middle of a well structured shopping area ... i am so glad i am exploring california in this manner .. it's a pleasure beyond pleasures every time i go!

Just an update, they have moved to Old Town Crestline, across from the Paula's Place restaurant. I can't believe the style and quality of purses they have for the price! It is amazing. I have seen the same purses on the floor at the LA Gift Mart and Show for the same prices, only that was a wholesale price! Amazing. Got some great bracelets and earrings there too. And, 2 pairs of heel sandals that I can switch the straps out on, have received many compliments! Will be back!

My folks have a house in Lake Arrowhead. Last time we went to visit we stopped by My Favorite Things. What a gorgeous shop!They have all kinds of one-of-a-kind and high end gifts and they are a full-service florist. My mom and I must have spent 2 hours there. I have been to Lake Arrowhead many times and had never been in this store!When we come back again this summer, I will definitely be stopping in to see what new items they have. I would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to put a visit to this shop on their to-do list. They are located in Blue Jay (5 minutes from Lake Arrowhead) in the Rite Aid shopping center.Tierney
