We stopped in on a wine tasting trip with our kids and my parents. This was a relaxed stop with some good wines at reasonable prices

We visited with out of town guests ... the owner was there and she provided us with a wonderful selection of wines to taste as well as pleasant conversation.

Although the drive wound up and down a gravel road, the setting was beautiful. Cautiously greeted by their two Boxers, we entered their tasting room which was cozy but comfortable. Very friendly informative family member served us, owners were busy with a wedding but still took the time to greet us. Wine was nice. We are beginning to realize, after visiting 10 wineries along the Oregon Winery Trail, that Oregon red wine lacks the robust flavors we love but are still nice table wines. Their tasting fee is very reasonable and deducted from any purchase. Hubby chose a white to take home, something I don't drink, but it was very reasonable and he enjoyed it in his sampling. Would recommend a visit as the wine is reasonable and the other couples tasting really enjoyed the whites.

We visited Misty Oaks on a friends advice we are glad we did !A husband and wife team run the winery and the vineyard , both are very nice . The tasting room is very simple but cozy, it's like visit to your aunt and she runs a winery.The wine is very good and the people who own it a very nice, it's in a lovely area , check them out !Mike
