This is an amazing museum. Great works from so many eras and areas of the world. Cool architecture for the building itself too. And it's free. Boom.

The Cleveland Museum of Art has a wonderful collection and offers a variety of travelling displays over the span of the year. You cannot beat the free entry and opportunity to expand your mind and art appreciation!

I had heard great things about the Cleveland Art Museum, but I was still surprised at how great it was. For starters, the atrium created a light-filled space to relax when you were overwhelmed with the quantity of great art. Ancients, renaissance, Old Masters, contemporary, and works from all over the globe--it was all there. A couple of pieces from the Islamic collection are still haunting me. The cafe was lovely as well, and fueled another couple of hours of exploration. We had recently returned from London, and expected to be let down by this museum, but were overwhelmed with the quality. Don't miss this one!

Wide variety of well presented art works from many areas and time periods. Good lighting. Restaurant has great view and good food.

The Cleveland Art Museum is the best value in the whole city. For starters, there is no admission charge. It is completely free. Every style and type of art is represented, including a most impressive exhibit of medieval armor. My favorite experience was being able to experience Van Gogh up close and personal. A lovely diner is available with a large variety of healthy and delicious food choices.

This museum is one of the best values in Clevaland or any other city. World class art totally free in a spacious and modern building. Traveling exhibits are by admission, as is true anywhere,Excellent healthy cafeteria, nice shop, great concerts and other programs at reasonable rates.Downsides: the air conditioning is uncomfortably, almost painfully cold. If you aren't wearing long pants and a sweater, you will have to cut your visit short. Haven't been. In Wu ter since the renovation, so not sure iabout the heating. Also, cafeteria closes too early.

This is a world class museum. Free, docent led tours are offered daily from Tuesday - Friday at 1:30 and on Saturday at 2:30. The docents are knowledgable and friendly. Provenance, the onsite restaurant, is excellent but a little pricey.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit on a late winter day starting with the surprise that admission was free! The giant indoor court was sunny and warm compared with outside, making it a quite inviting way to begin our tour. The art was great and displayed thoughtfully. There is a docent guided tour of the highlights for those who want a personal touch. Definitely recommend esp for people intimidated by art. Everyone can find something of interest.

The century-old Museum of Art features the works of Monet, Manet, Degas, Van Gogh, Picasso -- and that's just the European collection. Itself a work of art, an "architectural crown jewel" the museum has been called, this gem overlooks a Grecian-style courtyard in University Circle, the region's park-set cultural showcase about 15 minutes east of downtown. And get this: It's free.

A great selection of art covering a diverse set of periods. The armor display, much on loan from the National History Museum in Vienna, was quite impressive. A nice collection of renaissance era art as well.

I recently stopped by during a very bad weather day to view the new Cleveland Museum of Art. This place is really quite interesting. The Galleries of the main museum are free and the collection is quite superb. Certain attractions are charged a fee and are very crowded and the head phones giving a talk about the pieces can sometimes be distracting, but overall a really great day! The older collections are just so beautiful. The restaurant and gift shop are pricey and don't have an extensive amount of products. I prefer the gift shop down the street at the Cleveland Orchestra Store, great selection of beautiful gifts and music.

As a native Clevelander, I am proud to have this beautiful museum here. I recommend for anyone to go and by all means take your visitors from out of town. The renovation is absolutely beautiful and there is room after room of great artwork. The on premise restaurant (Provenance) is fantastic and a great way to relax before or after your visit.

It is free and well worth the time. Compared to other larger Museums obviously they cannot compete but considering their size and funding they put on an excellent display. Even their restaurant is well above average

This is a world class museum. Recently it went through a remodeling and expansion that moves it far above the rest. And, a truly remarkable thing is that except for special exhibits, the museum is free and open to the public.

The new addition to the art museum means it is even better than before. It is free to visit, the collection is amazing, the cafe Provenance has delicious food, and the central interior courtyard is airy, serene, inspiring.
