old avalon golf course

This is a nice, flat & level golf course. I've played there several times while visiting the area and it's usually in decent condition. The pro shop staff is very nice to deal with. During one round, it was actually a treat to see some C130 transports doing some landing approaches. Didn't bother me at all but the others in my foursome weren't thrilled about it. When it does rain heavily though, the course becomes a bit soggy with standing water, butyou can't control mother nature! All in all a nice course for a good price.

Terrible golf couse! It was closed for a year and not kept up at all during the closure. Dandelions on the greens, the fairways are thick, and the rough is out of control. Needs a lot of maintenance before I go back. Good for beginners due to the price is so cheap because of condition. I hope whoever is running the course can get it back to the way it used to be. I feel it will take a couple years though. ..

This golf course is amazing, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Bill the starter was awesome and the club house is very nice. This is by far one of the nicer courses I have played out in 15 years.

A group of us had a BLAST here and will come back a few times this summer. The staff was extremely helpful and never gave us any problems or bad service.
