This is the best place to go, more options to choose for eating and shopping. The trolley will take you everywhere for free.
Fortunately, the primary reason to go to Clematis street is to eat. Great selection of restaurants from hamburgers and sushi to fine dining. Unfortunately there are very few stores and lots of empty buildings. There is only 1 art gallery Habatat which is great.
this is a wondeful street just to walk and watch. Lots of great eating places. Several shops. There is a park on the water end where they hold events. Great sunshine fun.
Exciting, great food, a lot of fun people, a 24/7 place. something for everyone. Parking decks or on the street.
I am lucky enough to live on this street. Since I have lived locally Most of my adult life I have seen the ups and downs of Clematis Street throughout the years. Some years it was seedy and no one wanted to get anywhere near it. In the past 3 years since I have relocated here I have seen an amazing transformation! This is a five block area that ends at the intercoastal waterway where they now have kayaks and paddle board rentals. The views are spectacular from one end to the other, there is a park with fountains and they host the biggest area Green Market every Saturday morning, concerts on the Green on Thursday nights and Jazz music on Sunday's . There is really something for every taste. There are restaurants that serve every cuisine in every price range with sidewalk dining at most restaurants. Trendy coffee shops and Art galleries are also in the neighborhood. Free trolleys will take you over to another entertainment venue nearby. This street has it all, if I didn't live here already I would definitely visit here often. Great restaurants include Pistache, French Bistro, Palm Sugar, Asian comfort food, rated one of the best in the area. Rocco's for Mexican and Tin Fish for a tasty Fish Taco. Finish off the evening with a french pastry from The Panatere French Bakery or delicious ice cream from Sloans. Many places are open late, then walk down to the water, sit on the sea wall and enjoy the smell of the water here in paradise.
So much fun to shop and eat on Clematis. There's a great vibe out there and it's so pretty too...right by the water with all kind of pretty Christmas lights strung over the street, and the palm trees strung with lights as well. Thursday nights are so much fun as there is a live band out by the water with all kinds of food stands around to get some great munchies!! There's a water fountain play area...lots of fun for kids on a hot night. And on Saturday mornings, don't miss the open air Green Market for more great options for food & all kinds of goodies for sale!
Try Grease for an excellent hamburger. Lunch is better than dinner because it gets crowded at night and is noisy.
Many choices for restaurants and music entertainment, including Bradleys, Don Ramon's and Irish bar. Thursday evenings are especially fun
Beautiful place to stroll, shop and a wide varity of restautants and a great night life.Even a place with a mechanical bull. Fun to watch.
Great place to have fun by the water. On Thursday nights, you must check out Clematis by Night. Local entertainment by the fountains.
The Clematis street section is the heart of downtown WPB. Great place to walk and pop into the little shops and cafes for good food and drinks. And it's fun to people watch. Go to the east end of the street and you are on the waterfront with docks that you walk out over the water. Especially nice and romantic at night with all the city lights and the anchored boats. You can hop on Lolly the Trolly and head over to City Place which is also a happening spot. Something for everyone.
Clematis Street is very crowded with a lot of younger people at night. Most of them are doing a lot of drinking and bar hopping.
Great street with lots to do. Always seems to be something going on and lots of variety for everyone' young and old.
If you are visiting west palm beach and want to find a good area to walk around and pick a restaurant, Clemantis St. is it. On Saturday mornings, the farmers market is at the end of the street and always worth a trip. There are also several coffee shops and brunch places along the street. If you are around in the evenings, there are a lot of restaurants to pick from for dinner or happy hour. If you are with a group of people and cannot decide where to eat, just plan on going here and walking around until you find what you like.
