This is a huge park and a great place to visit in the nice weather. Fantastic fun for all the family and children will love it. Best to take a football and frisbee.

I try to visit this park every day, it's my daily dose of Vitamin G! I love the mansion and in the summertime the park is busy with people playing sports, just relaxing and generally having a good time.My main complaint is the cyclists that continue to whizz through the park, even though there's only one path that they're supposed to use. There have been some great music events over the years as well as the annual Fireworks display and now we can enjoy sporting activities such as ParkRun and the new table tennis tables.I love to see the ducks and geese, as well as the resident Tawny Owl and recently a kingfisher - I'm no birdspotter, but these are easy to see.The old trees have grown into fantastic shapes over the centuries and seeing them every day gives a wonderful sense of being at one with nature.

Nice Walks through a large Park with duck ponds, childrens play area, Wildlife i.e squirrels, birds etc. and a must is the arboretum gardens. Also, have Ip Art Festival, usually in July where they have a free music day. Various other activities inluding Open Air Cinema, big top etc.

There is no doubt that Ipswich is one of England's more depressed towns, so this oasis is welcome respite. A beautifully manicured and maintained park in one of Ipswich's more upscale areas, it has great jogging paths, a nice few nice ponds and 4 free tennis courts! It also has a lovely listed building which acts as a museum cum art gallery and has a nice little café in it. Great place for picnics in the summer and beautiful when in full bloom in the spring.

We loved walking in the park and kids enjoyed feeding the squirrels. We had a quick look to the Mansion, nicely preserved old items
