Kelsey Park is a nice place to stroll around in the afternoon. If you keep an eye out, you can observe the local wildlife including squirrels and different species of birds. I was there during the winter time but I would love to see what the park is like in the summer.

Not been here for a while because of the location but it's great for a walk with the family or little ones.I'd avoid taking dogs because it's quite busy and very large.

Took the grand children in half term, Suitable for both young and old, Well worth a visit, we thoroughly enjoyed it in February and am looking forward to visiting again in Spring or Summer there's plenty to do, it has a fantastic playground for young children plus a little cafe with very friendly staff. A beautiful lake and both the lake and park are full of wildlife, the birds and squirrels are quite tame and will feed from your hands, also good for dog walkers However as to be expected there are certain parts that dog walking is not permitted.

This park is great as it has options for dog walkers and areas that are dog free. The crazy golf is brilliant but very challenging!

Feeding the ducks, the beautiful lake, stunning views, herons in summer - love it all. Also plenty of spaces for picnics too.

This is a lovely park, with a big lake with wildfowl, a spacious lawn, backed by a herbaceous border, and a small rose garden

We visit this park often with our grandson who loves feeding the ducks and squirrels, and playing in the swing park. There is so much space and he can run and play in complete safety. The lake is a lovely place to walk round. I also took my older two grandchildren and they loved playing mini-golf! The bouncy castles in the summer were also great and such good value for money. The café for a drink and snack is well run but I wish there was another toilet as one has been closed and when you have young children it is a long walk to the one remaining.

I've enjoyed Kelsey Park for 20 years. Although I now live away from Beckenham, I have to say how glorious it is, and how much I miss it! From the concrete walkways to the bark-ridden walks by the trees it has enough to keep walkers, parents and solitude seekers happy. The ducks and geese demand to be fed, and the squirrels are very tame. If you go to the far end where the children's area is, the little shop will sell you a bag of monkey nuts for £1 and you can get the little squirrels to feed from your hand! A surefire winner for any aunty/uncle/mum/dad who wants to pretend to be Doctor Dolittle. (Sorry Grandands and Grans you're included! In fact anyone who is babysitting a little person!) Follow the whole path round from the high street and if you end up in Wickham Way, pop into the tea room and have a tea/coffee/juice and a bun. And think how lucky we are to have this on our doorstep. (or yours!)

Great local park with multiple access points. Nice circular walk, some areas dog free. Colony of herons on the lake. Childrens play area with cafe located next to it. Park very popular and well maintained

Kids playground, friendly squirrels that you can feed by hand. Lots of green things and a lake with loads of wildlife. Proper job.

I have visited this park infrequently in recent years and agree with all of the positive comments made by others. However, on a couple of recent dog-walking trips with my daughter (Summer 2014) I noticed that there were signs relating to the presence of rats in the park. I didn't have to look too intently to see them. Two rats ran across the path a few yards in front of us and on the grassed area adjacent to the path, and on a bright Sunday morning another was actually munching on a loaf of bread which someone had 'kindly' placed on the spike of the boundary fence. Probably not much that can be done about it in terms of laying down poison, etc, but slightly disconcerting........

Nestled in the heart of this town is the amazing natural yet well maintained spot called Kelsey Park. A haven for mums and their push chairs, families with slightly older kids, keep fit folk or the elderly partaking of their daily walk, this is a must see.

Wonderful place to spend some time in the nature, surrounded by flower beds, trees with squirrels, a beautiful lake with swans...peace reigns in that park!!

Amazing park spot...caters for all ages! Refreshments and eats sold too, what more could you ask for. Highly recommend it and will return soon.
