After finishing late from work decided to use my hard earned cash to order a treat and can safely say it was no treat. The food from this place was beyond disgusting the chips tasted like they had been reheated from last week, what cheese i saw was not a natural colour and the salad ...yes the salad the easiest thing in the world looked toxic no idea if they use a vinaigrette or if their salad is a new breed but can safely say I was not going to risk it.which brings me too the last part the meat if you have heard the expression that hungry I could eat a scabby horse well I can safely say I think I have, now that I have wiped that off my bucket list I would not recommend this takeaway to anyone...actually maybe the ex wife
Used to live in Renfrew and got food from here on a regular basis. Now moved to Erskine and we still go there. Food is always freshly made, hot and tasty. Never overly greasy or soggy. We usually have the set meal for 2 and get poppadoms, a pakora, spiced onions, 2 curries, a rice and a naan. Good value for money and the pizzas are great too.
Its nice but made for the locals. So if you are from the indo-pak sub continent the sweet base may not agree with you.
Freshly made food is very goodMenu is extensiveGood valueService goodWhen I visited the delivery times were total unacceptable which is why I went to premises.Get the above sorted it will be a gold mine
I first discovered Charlie, the owners cooking when he opened a small kebab shop in the East end of Paisley 20 plus years ago. The food was head and shoulders around the competition back then and he also seemed try and excel. The shop was always sparkling clean.Having tried his new venture, The Renfrew Tandoori, his standards are just as high. He has a brand new, outfitted kitchen and you can watch his many chefs cook your food as you wait. I usually order a set meal and the food is delicious, the portions are generous. As before, Charlie's venture is head and shoulders above the rest.
I got a large mixed kebab which comes in a small pizza box. Normally by the time you get home the box is soaked in grease but wen I got home from Renfrew Tandoori the box was almost dry. The food was very good and I was surprised it wasn't dried out with the state of the pizza box.Wasn't badly priced either. No more expensive or cheaper than other local take aways. One negative was the woman taking orders was sour faced and couldn't belive or imagine I wanted to actually order some food.
